Capcode
Capcodes are a way to identify Soyjak.Party staff members. Capcodes are not limited to just the Sharty, almost every Imageboard uses some sort of Capcode as a way to identify mods, admins, managers and more. Typically Capcode usage is only limited to announcements / limited meta discussions on the Sharty. A Tripcode is a similar, but nonetheless a different system meant for regular users to be able to post with an identifier.

Capcode usage, albeit somewhat rare is still seen on the Sharty. The staff members that are seen to be the most active users of Capcodes are usually Admins aswell as Managers. Regular Jannies and Mediators do not receive a Capcode. In some time periods of Sharty history, moderators also received a unique 4 letter identifier, for example : 89b1, or 4c75. This feature is mostly to detect abuse amongst moderators and for the users of the website to be able to rightfully complain about such abuse.

| Chud ## Froot | Capcode used by Froot. Its color is practically the same as FDL. |
| Chud ## Developer | Capcode for Developers of the Sharty. Pink/blue color. |
| Chud ## QUEEN | Joke capcode used by Root. Has a trans gradient. |
| Chud ## BIG BUDDY | Used by Doll around early 2024. Practically looks the Same as the standard Admin Capcode. |
On 4Chan[edit | edit source]
4Chan has a similar range of Capcodes, however, some things vary. 4cuck has a "founder" Capcode (Probably exclusive to MOOT.) and Janitors receive a special capcode on the /j/ board. (From the leaks.) It is also policy that moderators and the management always remain anonymous when they use the capcode. Capcode usage has also been steadily decreasing on 4chan ever since the imageboard was sold by moot.
