Manager

Managers are soyjak.party staff members who manage the janny team and interact with the userbase. Ever since Mustard, managers have also been admins.

History

There have been 6 separate individuals who have been manager. Doll was the first manager of the Sharty; before that mods were picked by Soot himself. His first post with his Capcode on was on September 15, 2022, still during Kuz's reign as the owner of the Sharty. His identity would be eventually released during the late stages of Kuz's rule. There were also a couple other managers, including Red, Root, Quote, Mustard and also the most recent and current manager, BBQ Sauce. Every manager besides Red would eventually hold position of administrator, with Doll and Quote later going on to own the site. Both Quote and Mustard became developers after serving as manager.

What do Managers do?

Managers manage Soygem Pass applications, manage the janny team and attempt to stop any conflicts between jannies from happening. They also legislate rules. Managers used to have less permissions than administrators do, but now they are the same. Managers also talk with users somewhat more often than administrators or moderators do, and act as a link between the users and the staff team.
