/giga/ was a hidden soyjak.party board dedicated to posting Gigachad, a NAS gem meme used by people who look exactly like him (snopes verified btw). Unfortunately, like most other hidden boards, it was very dead and in April 2024 it was deleted. The earliest record of the board's existence dates back to September 22, 2020.[1]
On July 23, 2024 Froot told Ronald to re-add /giga/[2] after a thread in /soy/ reached 500 replies asking Froot to ban Lennonjak.[3] The thread had garnered a lot of replies from Gigachad posters asking Froot to add back the board, henceforth he did.
After /raid/ got locked on July 26, 2024 /giga/ was its unofficial replacement for a short time.
On August 5, 2024, /giga/ was removed after a uttp commie foodist snitched to Namecheap and got the main domain taken down for a few days.[4]
On August 22, 2024, /giga/ got revived as /giga5/.
