/nate/ - World-renowned Coal Mine🔒, formerly /nate/ - Coals was a board on soyjak.party. It's basically if Niggerhell was a board. It has been compared to 4chan /trash/ and features similar content, NSFW coal from other boards is usually moved to this board. It is now thankfully deleted.
It was always hidden until the last few days before the Soypocalypse, and as of 12/16/2025, remains hidden. /nate/ has 25 40 5 2 3 5 pages and catalog wiping is permitted. In May of 2024, a tagline reading The Brimstone Mines was added below the board's title, which was later replaced by Also Jake's
On May 12, 2025, Quote reduced /nate/ to one thread that could be replaced by users every 15 minutes.🗝️ This put an end to the spam and necrobumping (both of which probably annoyed jannies), while it kept /nate/ a garbage dumpster, which was its original purpose, Also the tagline was changed to "Only the strongest will survive". The public consoynsus among soyteens is that this change was keyed.[1] It was sadly reverted somewhere around May 2025.
On July 23, 2025, this shit board was finally uncreated by Quote.🗝️

"Content"[edit | edit source]
The board was created on July 19 of 2021 by Soot as a containment board for race-fetish spam and other garbage-tier coal posts, and it eventually became a board where Soot and the jannies moved all the coal threads they didn't like to, as evidenced by this snapshot of the board from June 2022 here: https://sp2022.soyjak.wiki/nate/catalog.html.
The board's content usually consists of:
- Color dick wars (formerly the main topic)
- NSFW content
- Coal, dust, and brimstone (mostly brimstone)
- A pinned thread
- Accidentally looped flart thread from a failed cattywipe.
- Forced memes from nu/qa/
- NSFL content
- The occasional gem (unlike Nigger Hell, which contains not a single gem within its entire girth)
- Catty wipes
- Furfag and ponyfag shit
While it existed, 90% of the board was just catty wipes.
Catty wiping[edit | edit source]
Some time after the Second Great Purchase, even though catty wiping is a bannable offense for every other board, an exception was made for /nate/ specifically. This allowed any chud to take over the entire board for a few hours with whatever forced meme or margerald they choose. Every thread had a bump limit of 15 as well, and the pages were reduced to 5. The reason being that 100+ reply furry generals and porn dump threads were being created which is le bad. In mid-January 2024 this was changed for unknown reasons, raising the bump limit to 30 and increasing the amount of pages to 25. A thread creation limit was also added, which limits to 20 the maximum amount of threads that may be created each hour.
It's a great board if you want to practice your catty-wiping skills for raids. It is also a last resort for forcing a meme to try and gain any sort of notoriety.
Goon Wars[edit | edit source]

The Goon Wars, better known as the /nate/ War, was a special event in which conflict between cattywipers and gooners would escalate considerably. Although there has always been a cold war, the conflict would reach new heights, and drama brewed up with emerging commanders and named factions.
First Phase[edit | edit source]
On March 11, 2024, Froot hides /nate/ as part of an update to the top bar. Ankhafags emerge and colonize the board. This phase of the war is the most peaceful. Since there are 40 pages and a thread limit, wiping is an insurmountable task.
Second Phase[edit | edit source]
A few days later, Never Goon Minion shows up. Every hour or so, he uses up the thread limit to denounce gooning, and encourage others to stop gooning. This immediately starts a conflict, with gooners taunting the minion, saying "Minion lost" and falseflagging him. There was another avatarfag called Goon Minion aka Purple Minion, who would occasionally bump gooner threads. When Never Goon Minion wasn't wiping, others would try wiping the board. During this phase, about half the threads on the catalog were Minions. However, spammers kept necrobumping after the spam. Never Goon Trump also shows up.
On March 16th, minionGODs post a thread on /soy/ and coordinate a night raid on /nate/. This raid lasts for several hours, and successfully slides half of the Ankha threads off the catalog.
Third Phase[edit | edit source]
Root removes the thread limit and reduces the pages to 10. Anti-gooners nuke the board, including a rogue janny deleting Ankha threads. Gooners, most notably footfag, spam their own threads in response. /nate/'s PPH exceeds /soy/'s multiple times due to the spam, which might be partially responsible for the Sharty crashing multiple times.
The third phase was an Anti-Gooner win, due to Gooner threads wiping out every hour. Shortly, afterwards, the pages are reduced to 5, and gooners talk about wanting /fap/ to be made so they can goon in peace.
Final Phase?[edit | edit source]
Root adds back the thread limit, giving gooners a slight advantage. However, the 5-page catty makes it difficult for them to keep their threads up. Only Ankhafags can necrobump their threads for long enough for them to survive more than one day.
Ultimately, a series of strikes from Never Goon Trump, Schizofag, and Siegefag decimate gooner threads. On March 21st, they achieve a goon-free catalog for multiple hours, winning yet another battle. By this point, Ankhafag's threads are merely a memory on /nate/. The final phase was another Anti-Gooner win, despite the less favorable circumstances.
Second Conflict[edit | edit source]
After March 21st, new gooners contested the anti-gooners. They aggressively necrobumped their threads for hours every day, while anti-gooners were hobbled by the thread limit. The nugooners got multiple cattywipes of their own. The second conflict was much more aggressive between from both parties.
On March 27th, bumps got disabled and the thread limit got removed. This meant that anti-gooners could wipe the catty whenver they wanted, and gooners couldn't necrobump their threads at all. The second conflict was also an Anti-Gooner win.
Aftermath[edit | edit source]

/nate/ has changed radically throughout March. It started as a gooner safehaven, but quickly turned into a barren wasteland. The remaining gooners congregated in the sticky. What conflict is left is between a baiter and a couple of anti-gooners.
Second /nate/ War[edit | edit source]
Main article: Second /nate/ War
Roughly a year later, on April 21, 2025, /nate/ was unhidden to provide a home for gooner 4cuck immigrants from the Great Cuckset. The Anti-Goon Coalition (AGC) assembled to form the Anti-Gooner Death Squad (AGDS) and initiated TGD. After 4cuck returned, the gooners packed their bags immediately, as evidenced by /nate/ dropping to single digit PPH before May 12th.
Aftermath of the second /nate/ War[edit | edit source]
On May 12, 2025, Quote finally dealt the finishing blow (for now) to /nate/ making it restricted to ONE THREAD, rendering it useless, most of the annoying niggers infesting the site (widowmaker faggot, racebaiters and furfags) gave up and packed their shit to another shit nobody cares about splinter making this a huge never goon victory.

Closure of /nate/[edit | edit source]

During the great Tranimassacre of 2025, Quote decided to nuke /nate/ completely off the site. According to Quote, the jannies argued about whether or not furry porn counted as beastiality or not. Due to how retarded the argument was (because it's obvious that it does), Quote completely nuked the board.[2] Later when asked about the state of the board, Quote confirmed that it will remain dead forever🗝️.
Impact & Fallout[edit | edit source]
Many soyteens from around the world celebrated the death of the coal board. However, some of the frequent posters of /nate/ are disappointed with the decision, claiming that this was no different than when they had to close /ptb/ over the same reasons. But nobody gives a shit about their opinion anyways because they're niggers that goon off to 'p & furry porn anyways.
However, some demoralizers worry that this decision will only last for a week before it gets completely reverted, as this has happened before in the past. But only time will tell if Quote walks back on this or not.
