Overboard
The Overboard (Sharty: /o/) is a feature on soyjak.party and other imageboards, notably lacking 4chan. The Overboard is the board where 'O is posted shows all of the threads that exist across all boards on the site. The function has some niche use of gathering information on the entire site without having many tabs open. It is useful for finding the current oldest thread on the site that isn't pinned or looped, also allowing you to find the thread with the most replies. A thread on the overboard will look like this, where on the "intro" of the post, an additional part will be added that tells what board it is on:
Notably, posting includes a board field where you choose the board you want to post in. The dropdown for the board field shows almost every single board, including hidden boards and janny boards, such as /j/ and /mediator/.

[edit | edit source]The Party has it's own /o/ board.[1] Where you can see posts from both /soy/ and /pol/, the only two active boards on the website. Occasionally you may find some from /qa/ and the other snca boards. It's purpose is to go see a new thread in all boards but it's pratically used for some obsessed nigger go say that any NAS brimstone or coal and even Tranime posts "should go off their overboard" ev&doe they could just stay in the board they were previously instead of going to search for NAS stuff on the overboard.
Clicking on /o/ once resulted in a 404 error. This has since been fixed.
On an unknown date of either late August or early September 2026, the overboard would gain a catalog mode, giving way for even more efficient datamining.
