IRC is a text-only messaging protocol best known here because of the official soyjak.party IRC server irc.soyjak.st. There is also an official 4cuck IRC channel, presumably because the jannies use it to ERP in lieu of real sex.

IRC servers are seperated into different channels, like #soy, #wiki and #zellig.

To send a message to a user, one might use a command like this:

How to use Soyjak.party's IRC

To join using the IRC web client, click webirc.soyjak.st, and type /join #soy. Click your nickname in the bottom left to change it. You can also join using a client at irc.soyjak.st port 6697. Once you have done this you can learn How to IRC.

This works for HexChat and many other IRC clients, though some like irssi have the shortcut to insert the colored text as Ctrl-C instead.
