This is actually... helpful?

You can read this for more info about the topic

When you see embedded 'p, urgent report the post containing it and tip the file's hosting provider for illegal content.
If you manage to get information about the identity of the person who posted the file. Report everything to the FBI or NCMEC at https://www.ic3.gov/ or https://report.cybertip.org/ for possession of CSAM
WHEN REPORTING DO NOT SUBMIT UNCENSORED ILLEGAL CONTENT AS PROOF. YOU CAN GET ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF CSAM IF NOT OVERWRITTEN FROM YOUR HARD DRIVE.

Embedding is the action of hiding a file or link into another file through steganography or other means. Embedding may be done to transfer information in public with a degree of privacy or done maliciously to place unwanted files in other peoples' computers.

How to identify 'p embedding[edit | edit source]

1: Phagging[edit | edit source]

If you see a small discolored and barely noticable (but not impossible) nudge on the top left corner of a 'jak (typically babas) then its likely an ArchiveToday link containing 'p.

This is the most common way of 'p embedding. Its name being "top-left-archive.ph-fagging" or "phagging" for short. it can be seen through using a red MS paint bucket tool on an image at the top-left corner or 'Perisolve if you see a bunch of numbers & letters at the top left corner. its likely 'p or shit nobody cares about.

2: Complete ghosting / steganography[edit | edit source]

Basically phagging but it's an ENTIRE image, hidden by using the last bit of a color channel. used on higher resolution images.

(An example of ghosting. Figure 1)

This can be found through https://incoherency.co.uk/image-steganography/#unhide. Usually you need to set the number of bits to 1 (which is the default) to find it. (Fig 1.)

3: Audio spectrograms & DTMF hex tones[edit | edit source]

(Spectrogram view of paradise.mp4 Figure 2.)

A spectrogram is a visual representation of the spectrum of frequencies of a signal as it varies with time. When applied to an audio signal, spectrograms are sometimes called sonographs, voiceprints, or voicegrams.

Dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) is a telecommunication signaling system using the voice-frequency band over telephone lines between telephone equipment and other communications devices and switching centers. DTMF was first developed in the Bell Systemin the United States, and became known under the trademark touch-tone for use in push-button telephones supplied to telephone consoomers

Some 'p embeds use these as an alternative to phagging. By encoding ArchiveToday links in 4 bit Hexidecimal And converting the shitted out matrix into DTMF tones. they can be easily identified with the 1 and 0 being used in the audio track of the video with 'p embedded or something.

Spectrogram phagging is more obvious. Being easily identifiable by having high or low pitched buzzing or extremely gate-y to the point it sounds faster than a helicopter sounds. An example of this would be MKULTRA.mp4 also known as the infamous "MK ultra cobson video" or "Krautchan embedded cobson" with its sibling video "paradise.mp4" (Fig 2.)

What do you do when you identify embedded 'p?[edit | edit source]

  1. Firstly, check yourself if it is 'p using various methods.
  2. IF YOU EVER NEED TO GIVE PROOF OF ILLEGAL CONTENT WHILE TIPPING, YOU WILL OVERWRITE ANY TRACE OF IT FROM YOUR HARD DRIVE AFTERWARDS. Watch the video to learn how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sfXSL_tGiM&t=5s
  3. Upon identifying that it is embedded 'p. URGENT REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY, JANNIES WILL DELETE IT. And clear your browser history & cookies after checking if you didnt do it on incognito like a fucking retarded pedonigger. may want to delete your sample image aswell.
  4. It is really easy for shit like this to slide by. so if under suspicion. check and report it.
  5. Afterwards, move on with your day and eat the bugs.
