How does soyjak.party work?[edit | edit source]

Soyjak.party is divided into boards, each with a different topic or posting style. Each board contains threads started by users. A thread begins when someone posts an image (usually a soyjak) and optionally a short message. Other users can reply with text or more images.

When a thread receives a reply, it is bumped back to the top of the board. Old threads that no longer get replies eventually fall off the last page and are deleted, so discussion moves quickly. This helps keep the boards fresh with new content and encourages active, ongoing participation.

Picking a Board[edit | edit source]

Boards are listed on the front page. Some are for posting specific types of jaks, others for general discussion or off-topic content.

Spend some time browsing to get a feel for what each board is about before posting.

There are also a few hidden boards that aren’t listed on the front page, but we will let you discover them for yourself!

Starting a Thread[edit | edit source]

  1. Upload an image (usually a soyjak or related meme).
  2. Write a short comment or prompt if you want.
  3. Click Post. Your thread will appear at the top of the board.
  4. You can optionally add a title, but it isn’t required.

Post Options[edit | edit source]

When starting a thread or replying, you’ll notice several extra options that control how your post works. These options are board specific, but here is what they do.

  • Poster IDs – Generates a unique ID for each poster in a thread so other users can tell who is who.
  • Images Only – Makes a thread require an image for every reply. Text-only posts are not allowed.
  • Geo Flags – Displays a country flag or region flag based on your IP address.
  • Restricted Thread – Only trusted ips can see the thread.

Replying to Threads[edit | edit source]

  • Click Reply under a post to respond.
  • You can reply with just text or attach another image.
  • Use >>postnumber to quote another post.

Bumping[edit | edit source]

Threads automatically bump when they receive replies, keeping them active. You can control bumping behavior with the Email field:

  • BUMP – Forces a bump even if it normally wouldn’t.
  • SAGE – Prevents bumping.
  • SUPER SAGE – Prevents bumping and signals strong disapproval of the thread.
Don't actually put your real email in here unless you want it to be raped, as that will be visible to everyone

Other notable Features[edit | edit source]

Soyjak.party has all the standard imageboard functionality, but also has some extras you would not normally find anywhere else. Here is a list of notable features:

  • Catalog View – Allows you to browse all threads on a board.
  • Soymoji - Oh my facui! This is just like my le heckin autistic discord emos!
  • Special fonts - Adds styling to your text. Waow!
  • Polls - You can add interactive polls to your thread for voting about an topic.
  • Voice chat - Allows you to talk to other teens through voice. Great for getting datamined.
  • JS Paint - Its basically as its says. It is MS paint, but recreated with JS. After painting, it can be used as your thread image.
