Ratingcats are images that depict different ratings as catgirls based on Moot-tan and Tama, such as coal, antimatter and brimstone. The image was first uploaded on soy on February 14 but it's earliest thread was a day later.[1][2][3]

Ratingcats as an OC started to appear on February 15 in a thread titled, 'Coalla culture thread.' After some time, drawfags appeared and started to make more Coalla content, later resulting in brimstone, antimatter, and gemerald ratingcat variants being created. Most of them however were only in the original thread.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The purpose of said variant is to "flag coal posts" done so by posting the original picture with with a supersage/sage with an empty body or something along the lines of "this thread is coal!". However that is extremly rare as the variant itself is posted well, extremly rare but atleast its used for its intended purpose pretty much exclusively. Also shes makes my biwisi go up o algo.
