Current mission: Save Happenings/2026 from becoming a DNB
SNCA:ATF

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is a three letter agency, and probably the coaliest one at that, except maybe the IRS. The agency is a part of the United States Department of Justice. Its responsibilities include investigation of federal offenses involving the unlawful use, possession, and distribution of alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and explosives.
History[edit | edit source]
The ATF was created in 1886 as the Revenue Laboratory, part of the Department of the Treasury's Bureau of Internal Revenue. It was made an independent agency within the department in 1927, then transferred to the Department of Justice in 1933. After prohibition was repealed, the agency was transferred back to the Department of the Treasury. It became the Alcohol Tax Unit within the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which was later renamed to the Internal Revenue Service. The ATU was then given the responsibility of enforcing tobacco tax laws and had its name changed to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax Division. With the passage of the Gun Control Act of 1968, the agency was again renamed to the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Division. Later, the Explosives Control Act made the agency responsible for explosives laws. In 1972, the ATF was once again made an independent bureau within the Department of the Treasury. In 2002, the Homeland Security Act reorganized several parts of the federal government, including moving the ATF back to the Department of Justice.
Why the ATF is coal[edit | edit source]
- They enforce retarded gun laws and tax laws.
- They besieged a family in their innawoods home, killed 2 of them, and injured 2 others.
- They besieged some schizo cult's compound, leading to a massive fire and 82 deaths, including 28 children. Joe Biden('s handlers) nominated one of the participants to be the director.
- They have openly committed entrapment several times
Abolish the ATF Act[edit | edit source]
In 2025, representatives Lauren Boebert (R-CO-4) and Eric Burlison (R-MO-7) introduced a bill that would abolish the ATF, but it didn't go anywhere.
