Dustborn as the name says, is dust...

Dustborn is a slow-burn, A24 inspired, genre redefining video game about a band of diverse latinx xueens who fight the forces of evil president Drumpf by casting such powerful spells as "Bully", "Hoax", "Normalize" and "Cancel" (literally a Twitter simulator). It had about 12 active players on Steam a few days after launch despite receiving $1,500,000 from the Norwegian government, $150,000 from the EU and $275,000 from the USA, meaning the devs probably just wanted to scam the forces of global communism and never actually intended to make money. The game is filled with overt and subliminal anti-chud messaging with the characters travelling from Commiefornia through the fascist police state "Justice" formed after JFK's wife was shot (even doe they are blue helmets who would support the NWO). This is because the game was inspired by the lead dev being triggered by Trump winning the 2016 election. Ironically the main character is racist towards robots probably because they represent white aryan patriarchy or something. This is what feminists actually believe.

Characters

All the characters in this game are 30 or 40 despite acting like teenagers. The very first thing you see when you are introduced to them is their pronouns. Most of them have le quirky mental health issues or are straight up trannies.

• Pax (33/She/Her/Latinx): An emotionally manipulative psychopath with magic voice powers she used to steal from the poor and give to the rich (herself). Apparently a former anarcho-primitivist but you wouldn't know that from the gameplay because she uses technology all the time, despite her anarcho-primitivist sister being traumatized after using an elevator.
• Theo (42/He/Him/Mexican): The whitest character and the only one without magic.
• Noam (37/They/Them/Asian): A rich nonbinary girlboss from Hong Kong whose powers are "gaslighting" and draining the emotions from people like a vampire which is probably why he is so pale. Probably named after known communist Noam Chomsky.
• Sai (31/She/Her/Latinx): A mental wreck who has emotional breakdowns every 5 minutes, and at one point has to be coaxed out of her room with treats like a dog. Also a plus size latinx xueen with a skin disorder for bonus BlackRock ESG points.
• Others: Way too many but they're not important.

Plot

In 2030 the US has been split into a bunch of separate countries with the only important ones being Pacifica (Commiefornia where they start), Justice (most of the northern half of America) and Nova Scotia. The characters steal a USB from the Puritans (a transhumanist cult named so the developers can make Calvinists look bad to advance their evil atheistic agenda).

Around 2000 there was an event called "the Broadcast" which beamed the Alex Jones show into the heads of most Americans, telling them to not trust the government or the New World Order. Despite these predictions actually coming true thanks to Justice, the characters still use a machine called the "Me-em" to remove the "disinformation" from people's heads and turn it into new abilities like "Cancel". Confirming that the developers are Twitter addicts, the machine is likened to a "moderator" on social media. The reason for this plot point is probably the US giving them 275k for a "counter-disinformation game", so they had to shoehorn something about it in somewhere.

Wiki vandalism

The wiki was hacked in October 2024 with many people spamming soyjaks before the changes were reverted. Nobody cares about some snca game you stupid Nigger...
