expand me if (You) are too dumb to find it

This page will allegedly explain the entirety of the Sharty Station 13 character setup menu. The menu is easily accessible in the pre-round menu, thoughbeit you may open it at any time with the Open-Character-Preferences verb.

The menu itself[edit | edit source]

Expand me!

At the top, you may find character slots- use these to save several characters at once. Given the nature of ShartyStation, it is exceedingly recommended to have at least 2 characters so you can respawn smoothly.

Click on the buttons to change that part of your character. Your randomized character will likely be a green, retarded slopjak. Please change it

Look around this menu yourself a bit and make the character that best fits (You).

Additionally, please find the alternative name field, such as this:

It is highly recommended to input something for the given options, as the direction of a round may find you holding one of these names. Do note "backup human name" can be ignored, as it is exempt from this.

Species[edit | edit source]

Sharty Station 13 has several playable species with unique options for customization.

They have vast differences between them and may even drastically alter your fundamental gameplay.

It must be noted that there is a high chance you may be lynched for playing as the wrong furry OC species. Percentage chances for lynches will be listed.

Humans[edit | edit source]
  • The baseline species and the only one with special ingame lore.
  • Pros: Asimov Lawset superiority (You are the only human race - Default (non crewsimov/nut/money) Asimov only sees the HUMAN RACE as human - They can ignore any orders from a nonhuman race (below))
  • Cons: None!
  • Lynch chance: 0%
Felinid[edit | edit source]
  • Anyone using this race is 100% worse then any lizard static.
  • Pros: i dont know i hate these bitches so probably none lmfao
  • Cons: You are the bane of my existence, and I will kill/spray you. Screams when sprayed with water (or any chem from a fire extinguisher).
  • Lynch chance: 100%
Ethereals[edit | edit source]
  • Literal glowies, these crystal men are often confused with dirty no-good scaleskin liggers, and may be lynched for it. Best known for eating electricity and reviving upon death. Very newfag friendly due to free revives.
  • Pros: Crystallize after death, fully reviving the Ethereal with a permanent brain trauma. Just make sure to not get beheaded or have your crystal shattered. Glow. Can be emagged for RGB lighting. Shock resistant. Eat electricity from APCs/Liquid Electricity food/Cyborg chargers instead of food. Heat resistant. Do burn damage with their fists. Have liquid electric blood.
  • Cons: Toxin damage while starving, take more brute damage when at lower power, cold vulnerable. That's it!
  • Lynch chance: 20%
Lizardpeople[edit | edit source]
  • Anthro lizards, used by faggots. Hangs-Xer-Self geg
  • Pros: Claws and slightly higher temp resistance. Able to *weh. Able to gain firebreath from genetics.
  • Cons: you are worst ligger. you are the ligger idiot you are the ligger smell. return to lavaland. to our moth cousins you may come our contry. you may live in the zoo….ahahahaha ,scale we will never forgeve you. ashie rascal FUck but fuck asshole ligger stink scale sqhipere shqipare..ligger genocide best day of my life. take a bath of dead ligger..ahahahahahscale WE WILL GET YOU!! do not forget ww3 .legionia we kill the king , ashliggers return to your precious lavalands….hahahahaha idiot ligger and ligga smell so bad..wow i can smell it. • Lynch chance: 90%, drops each round by 10% because people get bored, resets every gamenight.
Moth people[edit | edit source]
  • To quote the game, "Abomination against Man, and if he still believed, his God too."
  • Pros: Can float in 0G with their wings, given pressure. Eat clothes.
  • Cons: Eat only veggies and clothes, wings can be burned, get raped by fly swatters, flash protection so poor you can legit stun them if they have sunglasses. Oh, and the wings can burn off.
  • Lynch chance: 75%
Tundra moths[edit | edit source]
  • Moths but resistant to cold and vulnerable to heat
  • Cons: Read above. And they're ugly too!
  • Lynch chance: 76%

Plasmamen

  • The biggest gameplay conversion, these skeletons literally need plasma (galaxy gas) to live.
  • Pros: Immune to rads, (most) diseases, toxins.. they're skeletons. Resistant to wounds. Can heal wounds by consuming plasma. Spawn with a welding + flashlight helmet. No blood. Cold resistance.
  • Cons: Instantly ignite when exposed to oxygen. Heat vulnerable. Breathe plasma to live. Realistically never get revived.
  • Lynch chance: 0%
Goblins[edit | edit source]
  • The monkestation OC faggot stand-in.
  • Pros: See better in maint, smaller sprite, faster, build machines quicker
  • Cons: Get more wounds, have less health, get stunned for longer
  • Lynch chance: Unknown- nobody actually plays as these.
IPCs - Integrated Positronic Chassis[edit | edit source]
  • The robot species.
  • Pros: Hot and cold resistant. Can re-attach limbs with their hands. Brain is in the chest. Oil blood. Is a robot. Can be hacked by a malf AI, free antag!
  • Cons: Instant anal rape if EMPd, can easily be delimbed, take 20% more brute and burn damage, vulnerable to hot and cold (I assume you take more damage but your general temperature limits are better), shock vulnerable
  • Lynch chance: 5%
get a job nigger

Occupations[edit | edit source]

the whole thing geg click me

In SS13, you HAVE to get a j*b to play as with your character. Depending on your species choice, these may be restricted. Each job has different access and different starting gear and a different role, which may give them authority or special rules. Each character slot saves its job choices individually.

You can pick alternative titles for a j*b by pressing the dropdown menu button on their names. These do nothing, but it's nice flavour! [go and pick rabbi under chaplain]

There is also a dropdown menu on the top right of the menu, which manages the interaction for not rolling a job. Quite self-explanatory!

On "Rolling" a job- each job has 4 options, high, medium, low and never. There can only be one high j*b.

  • High: Unless you roll antagonist on a job that can't have it or someone else wins a diceroll with the same high job, you are guaranteed to get that job on roundstart.
  • Medium: The game picks one of these at random if there is no High job available. Can't override other people's High job selection[verify].
  • Low: Same as Medium, just with a lower priority.
  • Never: The name is deceiving, you can still roll it if you roll antagonist on an antagless job and the game doesn't have any fallback job selections.

Special J*b rules[edit | edit source]

Due to selfish little FAGGOTS, certain jobs have rules you must follow, particularly ones that prevent RDM.

Security, Command, Blueshield, NT representative[edit | edit source]
  • can't RDM (too hard)
  • can't ruin other peoples lives for no raisin
AI and Cyborgs[edit | edit source]
  • VILL follow their laws, with higher laws overriding lower laws (example: you get a law 4 that says "KILL EVERYONE", but you're asimov, so your law 1 says u can't harm humans, so you are only forced to kill nonhumans)
