Just merge the pages together

Write a neutral article explaining the site and add a section called "controversy" explaining why it's disliked. No need to do all this gay shit with multiple perspectives and want to influence the soyim when it's not an imageboard and so won't steal phh from the shitty. You niggas need to know that a wiki is not meant to be a hugbox and edit wars are faggy instead of "fun".

Arguments against merging post-sale history into this page?

Just had a discussion with User:GapeNewell on the IRC about this.

In my opinion it makes sense to merge it. Having everything on the same page makes it much easier for readers to get a complete picture of the site's history.

My issue with the previous merge attempt is that it overwrites a lot of the pre-sale stuff (rules, board list, etc) with the post-sale versions and puts a bunch of negative templates on the entire page for the post-sale stuff.

If the post-sale stuff was cleanly sectioned off from the pre-sale stuff without overwriting anything (e.g. separate lists for post-sale rules, boards, etc) and those templates were put at the start of the post-sale section instead of the top of the page, would there still be objections to merging the pages? --Quote (talk) 22:52, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

With Cobblestone's edits and how deviated nuschlog is from its pre-sale state, a merge would be redundant, especially since this wiki article is already a merge of the previous detractor's perspective.
