Pro tip about templates

I like what you did to the Great Cuckset page, but you created a separate template when it could’ve been done by nesting parameters inside an existing one. MediaWiki actually supports using parameters within other parameters, so you don’t need to create a new template just to add something new to it.

For example: {{{1|Default {{{2|Value}}}}}} becomes Default Value. This means:

• If parameter 1 is passed, it will be used.
• If not, it'll fall back to parameter 2.
• If parameter 2 is also missing, it will use the literal string "Value".

You could even use parser functions like {{#if:}} or even {{#switch:}} to add more complex logic. Fenriris 🐺 22:03, 5 August 2025 (EST)
