A soyteen is a regular member of the Soy community and usually the 'Party.

Soyteens are overwhelmingly male and tend to be regular Anglo-Americans between the age of 14-20, as with the userbase of most imageboard sites. The intelligence of the typical Soyteen is unknown, though it is theorized that the mixed and occasionally interesting minds which inhabit the ‘party have evened it out to be on par with the general population.

Nate, the depiction of a soyteen, is usually based on Yotsuba, with the pigtails removed and hair turned yellow to resemble Minecraft namefag Nate, and the shirt covered in soot. ^{ev&o it resembles the star trek uniform}

Etymology

The term was initially used as an insult poking fun at the perceived age of 'teens. Eventually, the term lost its negative connotation and became a casual label used by the soy community itself, even the ones that have become adults.
