Soybot9000, also known as the RoboTwist, is a specially designed machine meant for automatically opening Soylent bottles.
History
The RoboTwister first rose to prominence in popular culture after a viral video posted to r/soylent by the user alejandroandraca (who later deleted his account).[1][2] In it, he claims that his coworker uses the Robotwister "for those hard to open sqround [sic] bottles". The name of Soybot9000 comes from an YouTube repost of the video called "Soybot 9000 demonstration".[3]

Soybot has been widely memed by the Internet as it feeds into the Soyboy stereotype that they are pathetic and weak to the point they need a robot to open their soylent bottles for them, which was not helped by the seemingly malnourished hand of the coworker in the video.[4] In fact, Soylent bottles are actually very easy to open.[5] The most popular meme is a MSpaint redrawing of the scene with the phrase >soibot, I need you.
