Soy Boys or Soyboys, also known as Nu-Males, refers to a stereotype of emasculated, pop culture-obsessed men with leftist political views, who also commonly are fans of the Nintendo Switch, amongst various other things. They're also known to be performative around women, for example supporting and feminism and abortion, though most of the times it's just so they can get laid.

Soy Boys are usually aged between 20 and 40; they are often bald or balding, sporting a stubble and wearing glasses. Soy Boys were the original inspiration for the Soyjak, a meme that satirises in a highly accurate manner the millions of men who do, in fact, look like a Soyjak and say the same things that Soyjaks do.

There has been a growing trend within soy boys, in which they all try to emulate this look in particular. There isn't much to say about it asides from pointing out the irony in the adoption - these long haircuts used to be maintained (ironically enough) back when they were popular, and the people adopting them today don't seem to care about that kind of stuff. As a result, their facial hair also goes so unkempt, that it grows into a disgusting stache instead.
