This is the most popular and closest theory to being confirmed, but nevertheless, debunked. Nevermind, it later was revealed to be true. On March 2, 2026, Mustard made a post[1] on the Shiwi alleging that Soot still posts on the Booru under the name Randals_Strongest_Warrior[2]. Since Randal is a known pooner, this led people believing that Soot was a woman (as pooners will never be men). Mustard claims that someone managed to grab Soot's IP address via Email and that it matched the IP of the Booru account[evidence?]. Some people have proposed that the account does not belong to Soot himself, but rather his sister, but it is more likely that Randal simply lives in the same area as Soot, which is why they share the same (potentially) residential IP address, supported by the fact that he borrows sugar from her.[3] However, the investigation was thought to be concluded when Jonkler contacted Randal and asked her if she was actually Soot, which was answered with a round "no". That left us with the following theories:

  • Randal is actually his pooner sister and she got into the Soysphere, probably as long as Soot was involved.
  • Randal is Soot's neighbour / roommate / pooner girlfriend and that's how they got the same IP address.
  • Randal, like Soot, is a worker of the Pentagon and lives in Soot's house during missions

In July 24, 2026, when Randal got Contributor role, she admited that she indeed was Soot, not denying it later.[4] This is of course, heavy, because that means:

  • Soot has been active in the soysphere all the time even after resigning
  • Soot is a pooner, since she identifies as a male
  • Soot is friends with Mist and contributed to Soylent:Source[5]
  • Soot was involved in the Undo the Gradingcaust Campaign[6]
  • Soot also was involved in the Mustard hate campaign and responsible for his slopjak[7]

This theory claims that Soot is actually a federal agent or worker for the U.S federal government, due to his involvement in datamining.[8]You WILL NOT investigate this further.

This theory was brought up in January 30, 2022, when a bunch of chuds on the Sharty datamined soot's personal data and uncovered the shocking truth. Meds, it was never confirmed.

Soot was an USASOC soldier and was killed by the NSS

This theory alleges that Soot was part of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command and was part of a mission of reconnaissance in Iran during 2020. Russian NSS agents would have raided his home in North Carolina and killed him after Soot was caught pushing anti-IRGC embedded propaganda and his father being part of Operation Gladio.[9]
