Peepo is a wholesome, childlike version of Pepe the Frog based on Apu.

History

Peepo is characterized by his small size, childlike appearance and innocence. He originates from a series of Twitch emotes which were low resolution edits of Pepe, but despite this, he became a fan-favorite among Twitch audiences, turning Peepo into arguably the most popular and mainstream Pepe variant. Despite his normie appeal, some on 4chan have embraced Peepo as legitimate variant, he is even a popular mascot on the /biz/ board of 4chan due to a Peepo themed memecoin that became very successful. Peepo is also often confused with Apu or Marv due to their similar appearances, however Peepo is easily distinguished from them to a trained eye.
