R.E.P.O, also known as Repo or Rape-o, is a slow-burn, cheap-jump scare-free, bone-chilling kino treasure hunting horror game where you play as robots called Semi-bots and you have to collect treasures and various other items (crowns, potions, etc.) in order to move on to the next level. It is a game You and I might like. The game also causes a lot of geg's or whatever

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Each level has a uniquely generated map layout that is never the same, with differing valuables spawning in each layout section [Or none at all if you aren't lucky]

Monsters can spawn in each level layout determined by the level you are on.

Monsters are guaranteed to drop soul orbs upon death, which count as valuables you can extract for money ranging from 2k-7k differing for each danger level of whichever monster you kill (Killing robe will drop a soul orb that's value is between 5k-7k)

Monster spawn chance's

Level Lvl. 1 Monsters Lvl. 2 Monsters Lvl. 3 Monsters
1-2 1 0 1
3-5 1 1 1
6-8 2 2 2
9 2 3 2
10-19 2 3 3
20+ 3 4 4
Player[edit | edit source]
The ultra-rare cosmetic box

In R.E.P.O. You play as robots called semibot's, semibot's are not very durable nor strong, but can manipulate the objects around them in order to attack enemies or move valuables into the extraction point (e.g. Picking them up). The player can also equip cosmetics which are purely for show and do NOT provide buffs.

Cosmetics[edit | edit source]

Cosmetics are obtained through extracting Cosmetic box's that have a rare chance of spawning upon loading the level. And when extracting cosmetic boxes and completing the level, you are rewarded with cosmetic coins that you can use at the service station to obtain cosmetics.

There are 4 cosmetic box rarities

  1. Common
  2. Un-common
  3. Rare
  4. Ultra-rare

Levels[edit | edit source]

  • Swift broom academy[best map ever btw]
  • Headman manor
  • Museum of human art
  • McJannek station

Post-level[edit | edit source]

After completing a level, you get sent to the Service station where you can spend all the cash you made during the levels beforehand. You can buy upgrades, support items, and or weapons to fight the various monsters with.

Items[edit | edit source]

There are varying grenades and landmines you can buy for 3k-2k dollars in the Service station. Though grenades are mostly useless, as the monsters can just move away from them.

Weapons are very valuable for killing monsters and obtaining soul orbs but come with high prices, these prices range between 15k-50k dollars.

Valuables[edit | edit source]

In the various levels, valuables will spawn. And in order to beat said levels, you have to extract them to reach the profit quota.

Like monsters, valuables have a set amount of health and will break/lose value if they get broken (e.g. Hitting against floors and walls, hitting them into entities, etc.)

and can make you lose the run if you break enough valuables in a level., The main monster that can contribute to this loss is Rugrat (Babyjak).

Monsters[edit | edit source]

Example of the monster "Loom"

There are various monsters, but this list is only going to cover the danger 3 monster's

  • Trudge

Death[edit | edit source]

Death usually is caused by entities, and or your own clumsiness (GEEEEEG). It will always cause players to seethe if the death was stupid.

After dying, you are sent to the disposal arena and dropped into a death pit. But in multiplayer, you have to fight your friends to the death in order to be crowned "King of gigas".

About the game[edit | edit source]

>R.E.P.O. is an online co-op horror game featuring physics, proximity voice chat and scary monsters. You and up to 5 other players venture into terrifying locations to extract valuables using your physics-based grabbing tool!
>The game is developed by indie game studio semiwork from Sweden on the Unity engine, and was released on Steam on February 26, 2025. The game became very popular in the first days after release. The game has similar gameplay to other extraction looters with games like Lethal Company and Content Warning, which hold a similar aesthetic and gameplay balance.

Also, the game is $9.99 on Steam.

Release[edit | edit source]

During the release of R.E.P.O, it was heavily thought to be a slop game due to its main branding and profile on Steam. One of the developer logs featured this problem and rebranded it to fit accordingly to the game. It is said on release, that if you make it to level 100, Jerry Oberman will spawn in and rape you Wrong, take your meds

Player base[edit | edit source]

A lot of Troons surprisingly play this game[ev&oe it isn't fully gender affirming] but looking aside from all of that, it's a great game. If you want a fun game to play with friends, then this is a good game to pick!

Lore[edit | edit source]

The game seems to take place in a post-apocalyptic setting after all humans have gone extinct.

and subtle hinting in McJannek station leads toward the development of some kind of lifeform in the test tubes.

Maybe the Scientists at a McJannek station created some kind of human-killing virus on accident and couldn't contain it.

Or the headmaster at Swift broom academy casted an unstoppable spell.

The game doesn't answer a lot of these questions, but hints towards their answers through room design and secret rooms
