Who is behind it?[edit | edit source]
After an informative snca /soy/ thread by one retard suggesting this, the administration of Soyjak Wiki four power-tripping admins have leaked and ruined everything. There are multiple (retarded) reasons for this change:
The wiki should not present or try to control public opinion, it must ideally only present information and allow readers to come to their own conclusion.
- This is retarded. Part of the wiki is being funny, NOT just being a Wikipedia clone. Many are concerned that this will cause the wiki to lose all its uniqueness and become boring like the others, or become an ED clone.
Topic quality templates are a catalyst for useless edit wars. Topic qualities are subjective, and reflect only the opinion of the latest editor to edit the page. Just because someone thinks something is coal or a gem doesn't mean that the wiki should cater to their opinion. If someone has good reason to grade a topic, they may just edit the article itself to prove their viewpoint.
- Edit wars will happen regardless. If anything, this will take up the whole page instead of just one template. Wouldn’t that be way worse? Plus, it reflected the general consensus, NOT JUST ONE OBSESSED FAGGOT’S SHITTY OPINION. How will nusois know what we hate and what we like? The answer is simple: they won’t.
Most of them were useless, either being "<other template> but more/less" or outright having identical usecases to something else. There were no actual dividing lines between quality templates; which fed the second and third points
- This is objectively wrong. The whole mineral rating system is built upon how some are better or worse than others. All the leakage on the gemerald page serves as an example of when it actually is obscured; however, for example, antimatter is subjectively worse than brimstone.
