Tension is growing around Encyclopedia Dramatica tier articles and whether or not which ones should be allowed. Someone recently messaged me saying that it doesn't make sense how a page about muslims isn't allowed yet there are pages about Jews, Nigger, and Trannies. Because of this I have a proposal:

Deleting the Jews or nigger articles or making them a redirect to another page is just going to cause even more clitty leakage and won't solve any problems, so I came up with the absolutely genius plan of having a "ED-tier articles" page and having each article be under a subpage (For example, [[ED-tier articles/Jews]]). I know you have good intentions but the reason why people spam illegal stuff on our sites is to provoke reactions and cause as much damage as possible. Adding the fact that he intervened in the raid on the image caption is like handing him an achievement, he'll look at it and feel proud, and encourage similar behaviour among his niche.

Secondly the image doesn't provide much information for the authorities to be able to take care of him. From what I've heard he's been under some kind of surveillance. It's best to just let the officials handle him instead of trying to be vigilantes (soyteens are notorious for failing to lead actual criminals into jail, see Giggly Goonclown)

Don't forget that the happenings page is meant to be a gallery of the sharty's best moments. I want people in the future to look back and feel nostalgia while reading it. Alright, fair enough. I understand what you're saying. When I encounter someone like that, I tend to go into vigilante mode, and I've been trying to think of a way that I could finally get him - pardon the pun - busted (and, since he's believed to be 18 now, he would be a sex offender for life and therefore permanently prohibited from using the internet). I still think that making him more well-known for being a CP spammer would significantly increase his chances of finally being arrested, but I can also understand not wanting him to have online trophies for doing so. can I have janitor/helper role

Im planning to add a custom background image to the /troll/ template for each subsection. however I cant do that as URL is blocked and its the only way to set a background. the only way is to edit the common.css. I promise not to change ANYTHING in there. and just add some styles for some css classes

so for example the background image for the tatics option would be a nuke symbol. just trust me on this I promise its going to look really good(I will not be editing the main blue background on the top. that will stay the same)

I tottally understand teffal. The main reason why I asked was because adding a background to a template(which was what I planned to do for the submenus). is impossiable with normal sanitized css. url is disabled an and you cant use "[ [File.png] ]" for the background: parameter.

Petra Page

I would like to inquire as to why the Petra article was recently redirected to ACCESS DENIED by Gem Control (who, as before, I cannot ask directly since his talk page is now protected). This was the last revision of it before it was redirected. Yes, Petra is brimstone, but it's still a significant footnote in Sharty history and, as such, it is certainly worth documenting on the wiki. There are countless other articles on here about even worse shit. Having an article on here is by no means an endorsement of the article's subject. Ive done a lot of thinking

Yo tefal, I have reflected on my decision to ban an innocent user. I assumed he was okay with it and we are on good terms now, and I will not ban a user like this a second time. Because of this I am asking you if I can have the helper role back, because I have done more for this site then probably any other user here. Although I am not that active anymore, there is still tons of work left to be done, and the site quality has dropped significantly ever since I left. There's templates that need to be protected, pages that need to be fixed, and tons of other stuff (and not to mention that nobody is changing the featured gems anymore). Please reconsider and make the decision to add my roles back so that the site's quality can return to normal once again. Thank you.

Change the way the captcha works

It doesn't make sense to have a captcha just to see the wiki and it inhibits archiving. It should be changed so the captcha only appears when a user registers or logs in.

A user recently created an article about a so-called splinter site called Georgefloyd.party. However, I could only find two mentions of this site anywhere:

1. An archived Sharty thread where a user posts the site and another user responds by saying not to click on it because it's actual child porn.

2. One archive of it from Archive.org, but the archive was taken down, indicating that it was indeed child porn.

Images in Deletion Limbo

There are many images (including "137.png", "Comic 1.png", "Image3.png" and "BillJak.png") that have been marked for deletion for a very long time. The two leftovers from "Offended", Comic 1.png, and 137.png, have been marked for deletion for half a year now. Please finally delete them, they're not needed. Also while you're at it delete the counterpart to Comic 1.png, Comic 2.png. No page uses the file and it's brimstone.
