I think the current staff roster is fine as it is. I don't want to become part of moderation and have others treat me differently when editing or on talk pages, so I would prefer not to. If you think there's a need for more staff, I am sure there are more qualified editors who have also been around longer. is what she had in mind, but I am not really sure what she meant as having final say in an article is, in wiki context, quite a power and needs defined enforcement & oversight capability. I also don't know if she had me in mind as a candidate. In my opinion, it shouldn't be people from "different viewpoints" but someone who can stay neutral regardless of the given page, but those kind of people are very, very rare on this wiki. Edit war resolution also requires the power to block the edit warring niggers off that page temporarily or permanently, per case, mainly because said apes never use the talk page and won't even listen if you try. If you want to see recent examples, take a look at the Soyvil War 5 page. Last but not least, if the arbitrator decides to make it a ""final"' version someone can still edit it after them, and locking pages is very unpopular here. I don't know really.
