This + It doesn't directly tell the editor in question what they did wrong, and also the point of rejecting edits is to prevent bad edits from potentially polluting page histories with unwanted things like bad links. This happens whenever you use the template transclusion modifier {{subst:xyz}}, (see: Mediawikiwiki:Help:Magic words#Transclusion modifiers) and is how you are supposed to use this template iirc. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 15:52, 18 May 2026 (UTC)

if i'm expected to do it for free instead of being paid per hour then there's no harm in having a more effective way to do it than having to manually type out a generic rejection message. besides if there can be plenty of one-off/userpage only templates then an anporvor tool template is perfectly reasonable GauntletThrown (clittyleakage zone) 14:36, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
