Grooming is a process by which one individual (the groomer or predditor) manipulates another (the victim) into harmful actions. The victim is usually a minor due to them being considered easily manipulable. Groomers are common targets of Sharty raids due to them universally being considered acceptable targets. To prevent someone (You) know or even oneself from being groomed is taking them off the internet (and especially communities with large groups of groomers in them) and urging them to go outside, they may dilate at the thought of this. But simply getting off the internet and embracing one's family and irl friends is what seperates the groomed from the non-groomed.
There is another type of grooming which is just called taking care of oneself (ie grooming yourself), or dog grooming, which is just getting your heccin pupper a nu haircut.
