Motu Patlu is an Indian Anime about a Duo named Motu and Patlu living in Furfuri Nagar first airing in 16 October 2012, on Nick India. Since then, it has gotten over 1 thousand Episodes and 37 Movies, becoming one of the most popular Shows in India.

It first became well known worldwide due to a Nick India ad about dabbing becoming viral in 2017, with Motu and Patlu as Students who dab. Motu Patlu would then become a popular meme, even being covered by Pewdiepie. Motu was even in some 3lamestudio Videos.

Long after the Motu Patlu meme died out, it started to be spammed on the Sharty in 2025, as well as BTFOing Touhoucucks.

ZUN, on the other hand, doesn’t even like his creation anymore. He uses it solely for monetary gain and nothing else. ZUN is not proud of Touhou nor its obsessive fanbase, unlike Cosmos-Maya who wholeheartedly love their creation AND its rightfully obtained fanbase who they let decide what ART they want to see next.
