Ricardo Milos is a Brazilian male adult content creator who is best known for the video of him dancing while wearing only a red bandana and American flag thong. Edits of him, due to their homosexual nature and comedic value, can be seen as a predecessor to Thugposting, and share many similarities to Gigachad edits as well.
Milos first rose to popularity on the Japanese video platform Nico Nico Douga in 2010, and an edit of a Touhou character doing his dance reached the #1 spot on the site due to the userbase consisting mainly of pedophiles. He experienced a resurgence on the English-speaking internet around 2018, when he was posted on the 'cuck and later YouTube. It became a popular trend to bait-and-switch into his famous video from clips of Tiktok egirls dancing, somewhat similar to Rickrolling.
In 2019, Ricardo himself discovered his online popularity, and was not happy about it because he was now trying to raise his son in Florida. He threatened to sue anyone who posted the video, claiming that it was only supposed to be accessed by people who had paid for it. This, predictably, did absolutely nothing to stop its proliferation, although the meme experienced a general decline in popularity after 2019 (due to natural causes).
