Trying to search for a specific video on TikTok is comparable to trying to search for something on Reddit (the search engine is shit). The For You Page's algorithm is designed to keep you watching as long as possible based on how you interact with certain videos, so you can watch more ads.

It is one of the largest social indoctrination programs currently. It's known for hosting all kinds of unatmospheric fastburn coal that can't last 3 nanoseconds without being milked to dust by content farms. Interestingly, most of the memes on TikTok do not originate from the app itself; in many cases, they come from other popular sites. TikTok originally began as a secret military project called "Operation Frequency" by the Government of the Soviet Union to try to influence western society, but it was never released. The files were handed to the CCP government, who worked on the project until the app was created in September 2016 and began being released globally. • 5. Shitposters who post some even more nonsensical pictures with random audios and sound effects and audio distortions

Issues

TikTok is no stranger to le heckin problematic scandals and drama. TikTok had a big issue with gore and shock videos, especially during 2020-2021 when Ronnie McNutt's suicide video was being spread everywhere and jannies would leave it up for hours so everybody saw it. And don't forget that one time in June 2021 when a beheading video got like a million views from being on the front page for a whole day.

Its also very frequent to have other minor 'p, gore, porn spams due to 'tok jannies being retarded or probably gooning to it, these incidents have lasted days or weeks and because the userbase is so retarded that they will make videos about the spam and more people will see it causing a snowball effect, since 'tok videos can get popular very quickly it can cause thousands of people to see it.

Other less problematic issues are accounts "baiting" with ironic pedophilia and zoophilia advocacy, and sometimes softcore porn or even straight up porn being allowed, albeit this happens on every social media due to 'tok jannies as mention before being very slow or straight up retarded its more common to find them here.
