Satokofication is a phenomenon prevalent on SoyBooru where shitflinging or countrywarring revolving around a specific namefag (a NuSatoko) escalates and reaches a point where it begins to influence and accelerate the site's social and soyjakological culture, and usually ends with the namefag in question becoming an approver. The trend clearly began with satoko_houjou_fan during the Italo-Argentine War, continued with Warrior-Z during World War Z, and is currently occurring to jimbo through World War OneShot, though he has already reached the approver stage at the time of writing.

Satokofication is responsible for a lot of the Party's culture: the Meximutt variant could not have existed without it, for example. The phenomenon is associated with a high uptick of OC (often of mixed quality, though) and drama that occasionally spills out onto /soy/.

Signs

To distinguish general attentionwhoring from the true coming of a NuSatoko, a few signs are usually present.

• The shitflinging is organic and not samefagged by the prospective NuSatoko.
  • For the above criteria to take place, the prospective NuSatoko must be deemed a sufficiently gegworthy gegbull by the general 'ru Soymmunity.
• The NuSatoko is usually mentioned by the first comment in totally unrelated posts featuring a trans, black, Jewish, etc., soyjak or slopjak, usually likening them to the image in question.
• The NuSatoko is usually autistic enough to spend long hours on the 'ru seeking out bait, and this assists in their final transformation to approver.
