In Soyspeak, an archaism is an outdated or obsolete word that was once the dominant term, but has since fallen completely out of use in favor of a newer term. Due to variants in the language of both /qa/ and /soy/, some terms may have multiple archaisms, and other archaisms may be preserved in the etymologies of other terms.

People who use archaisms are either oldtroons trying to brag about being an oldtroon, or more likely a newGOD with oldfag dysphoria attempting to LARP as an oldtroon after reading this very wiki. This advice also applies to all internet terminology outside of 'jakspeak.
