Deformed soyjaks, also known as distorted soyjaks and poggers soyjaks, are a soyjak trend that originated from 4chan's /trash/ board. Deformed soyjaks are identifiable by their enlarged eyes and prominent gap between their front teeth. While most deformed variants are based on Wholesome Soyjak, other soyjaks have been deformed in a similar manner. You can easily make your own deformed gems using nobasu.
The original deformed soyjak was based on Wholesome Soyjak[1] and was a controversial variant on soyjak.party.[2] While some considered it poggers,[3] wholesome,[4] and a valid variant, others strongly disliked it.[5] In fact, the amount of hate towards it likely surpasses what impjak faced.
Deformed Soyjaks played an important role in the First Soyvil War.
Common characteristics[edit | edit source]
While most deformed soyjaks have their own differences, all have some of these defining characteristics that make them similar to each other, such as:
- Proper names: while most soyjaks get descriptive naming related to their appearance or use, most deformed variants seem to get common everyday names. What's unique is that whenever a variant gets a proper human name, it's usually in reference to those they were traced off, such as Alicia and Bernd, meanwhile the names of the deformed variants don't seem to reference anyone in particular.
- Colorjaks: deformed subvariants have been one of the primary targets to become colorjaks, with this being a signature trait.
- Babies: a good amount of the deformed version seem to be heavily used to represent babies or toddlers, this fact must be due to the distortion making them look more child-like. The exception seems to be grinlook poggers.
As a trend[edit | edit source]
Many other soyjaks have been subject of distorted edits due to the easiness of creating the effect. Though in fact most of them do not tend to become a proper subvariant like the ones displayed in this page, being relinquished instead to a one time use. Most likely due to being created long after the first Soyvil War and after the distorted variants had fallen out of popularity. However, deformation had regained relevance due to being heavily prominent and used in the creation of Slopjaks, as it is meant to intensify the absurdity and grotesquenesof the jak depicted. When JS Paint was added, due when someone requested it on /q/, 'teens used said feature to create their own deformed soyjaks.
How they are made[edit | edit source]
Like with Slopjaks, the primary method for making these is by taking an existing soyjak and using the Liquify Tool (primarily the bloat tool) in Adobe Photoshop or similar. For optimal results, target the facial features, mainly the mouth or pupils.
