The IRA, short for the Irish Republican Army, was a group of revolutionaries that fought against English rule in Ireland. Nowadays, however, it's now largely full of larpers, incels and retards. It originally was founded in 1919, during the Irish War of Independence, where it fought against the Royal Irish Constabulary (Black and Tans), who enforced British rule.

Despite being an ethnonationalistic^🗝️ terror group, the group seems to have a lot of support from trannies and other individuals whom most IRA groups would shoot on sight(because the IRA isn't even one group^{[It just is, ok?]}). Splinter groups include the Irish National Liberation Army, the Provisional Irish Republican Army, the Real IRA and the Continuity IRA (of which these groups fought each other more than the British). This is much like the Irish Civil War where the the Pro-Treaty IRA and Anti-Treaty IRA fought each other despite both being for Irish independence.

The IRA is best known for car bombings, and calling the police before bombing buildings (even though they literally bombed a bus full of kids but hey le heckin wholesome social revolutionaries cant do anything wrong!!)

Despite being loved by trannies, anarchist and other retards, the IRA does almost everything against their interests, such as being very Catholic, attacking drug dealers, numerously attacking LGBT identifying individuals and having plans for ethnic cleansing in Northern Ireland^🗝️. They are know to have strong ties with the Palestinian Liberation Organization, since they believe they share struggles.
