Bonk.io is an HTML5 browser game, which is a recreation of the original flash-based version, made by Chaz.
The HTML5 version released in 2021, which there has been threads about on the Sharty.

Autists, Trannies, Soyteens and kids on school computers play this game, some of the most autistic players are up to level 200 and higher.
How to play bonk.io[edit | edit source]
Moving[edit | edit source]
To move, use the arrow keys, you can also hold the down arrow key to move down faster and hold the up arrow key to float more while in the air.
The same applies to the W/A/S/D keys.
Shooting[edit | edit source]
To shoot an arrow, hold Z, and use the arrow keys (or a/d) to aim.
There are 2 kinds of arrows, Death arrows that kill the person which it touches, and normal arrows that just bonk the player which it hits.
Arrows act like landmines, so if the arrow has been shot and lies on the ground, touching it will still affect the player.
Grappling[edit | edit source]
To grapple, hold Z, and move around to gain momentum, if you bonk into a player who is grappling they would lose the grapple for a few seconds.
How to bonk players[edit | edit source]
- Gain momentum and bonk into a player
- Hold X to be heavy and bonk into a player, this makes you heavier which allows to bonk the player harder and be more resistent to bonks, but makes you slower
- Shoot an arrow into a player
- Run into a player like a retard
Chatting[edit | edit source]
To type chat messages, press enter, then type out what you want to say, and press enter again to send the message.
You can disable the chat filter in settings, do mind that it is client-side and people that have it enabled will not be able to see your shakespearean poems about niggers.
Modes[edit | edit source]
Classic Mode[edit | edit source]
In classic mode you can only bonk players and move.
This mode is also used to create custom mechanics implemented in the maps themselves (ex.: swords)
Football[edit | edit source]
To kick the ball, press X, to move use the arrow keys, not much to say about this.
People who play this game are likely british schoolboys who are obsessed with football.
VTOL[edit | edit source]
Brimstone gamemode where you're some kind of ship or something, you can fly by pressing down Z.
The physics are shit in this, you should never play this game mode.

There are custom maps created by users in the built-in map editor, which you can play.

There are semi-regular threads on /soy/ which get posted for bonk.io every few days, which are custom matches, usually the name of "bald man with glasses" the password to which being "soyjak".
It is not uncommon for 'teens to create splinter/bunker servers if the main server is full.

Thankfully, there is no way to see which IP is linked to which user, as they are listed in random order.
