coal pages(aka pages that need improving or fixing) and pages about topics that are coal should have smth else cuz im tryna fix pages and theres just a gorgillion pages that are just about bad topics and pages that could be gems if improved o algo also took da liberty to cull the useless/ended topics— Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiki editor (talk • contribs)
The coal template already used to have two variants (one for calling the topic coal, one for calling the wiki page coal) but that was axed due to potential confusion and the Gradingcaust where Cobblestone decided that the wiki doesn't really need templates just to say whether a given topic is good or bad, both to encourage independent thought and actually writing about the subject in question instead of just saying "it's le good" or "it's le bad". Not to mention that anything obviously bad enough to be near unanimously considered coal by the soysphere would already naturally make it clear from the article itself without needing a template.
Besides, there's already plenty of maintenance templates that do a better job at indicating that an article has problems by actually pointing out specific problems with the article, instead of vaguely saying that the article is coal. GauntletThrown (clittyleakage zone) 05:02, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

you're a 2025caca, quit trying to call your betters "nusois". plus the wiki already has enough walls of text without granting e-peen measuring points based on raw bit count, especially when it's far easier and faster to paste in a million bytes per article than it is to make a lot of edits without janny tools. besides the current e-peen measuring leaderboard is perfectly fine as is GauntletThrown (clittyleakage zone) 08:44, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

No. The problem with posting the domains of hostiles is that other teens will discover them and become hostile themselves, causing attacks from the outside in. I am pretty sure it was already like this all over the soysphere even when the FDL was in control Fenriris🐺 00:01, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
alright good to know, thanks! Greenfag (talk) 00:02, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
In recent soystory there's been a growing number of perspective articles made and deleted on this site. The most common variety of these is "detractor perspectives", which fully shift away from the wiki's usual goal of documenting things with independently fact checked and peer reviewed information in favor of just trashing the subject in question, deserved or otherwise. The problems with those are that they're usually just the original article with more template spam, a negative tone, and anything positive about the subject removed, which isn't helpful for the wiki's purpose and let's be honest articles like those belong on the site best known for those, Encyclopedia Dramatica. Another issue is the problem with information drift between a base article and its perspective(s), from having to edit the same information onto multiple articles every time a new thing worth updating them for happens, to say nothing of stuff being added to one page only because the editor in question only supports one perspective or because it wouldn't fit on the other perspective page.
There's also occasionally supporter perspective articles which are just the same as detractor perspectives except they're more positive than the base article with everything negative being removed or rewritten.
Anyways cobblestone please delete everything I dislike (the perspectives not in sub-categories can stay though since they're funny and have actual identities beyond just being "what if someone who really disliked X subject wrote an article on X subject") GauntletThrown (clittyleakage zone) 05:55, 8 May 2026 (UTC)

Yes, you can post your soysona on the 'ki, I seen alot of teens already do so. As long as you actually use it somewhere otherwise it will get deleted Fenriris🐺 21:26, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
i liked the "this is really bad" template made in march however it was poorly executed in a sense so i made this one though maybe its not better cuz its just an image with a player but either way maybe this would revive the template pls accept Nigge (talk) 15:39, 20 May 2026 (UTC)

I don't think this template can be revived since nusois would spam this on every single article ever that made their clitty leak it feels. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 18:00, 20 May 2026 (UTC)

Add a new abuse filter that results in a warning when trying to insert archive.today links[edit | edit source]
In this year it has been revealed that archive.today is rather sketchy. It is being investigated by the FBI, the site used its CAPTCHA to perform a DDoS attack against a blog that made the owner leak and there is evidence of the site tampering with archives.
I would not like the insertion of new archive.today links to be blocked entirely like on Wikipedo due to its ability to bypass paywalls, but instead inserting new archive.today links should result in an ignorable warning telling 'teens to use Ghostarchive or Megalodon instead. GapeNewell (talk) 21:39, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
>This action would involve the insertion of an archive.today link, which is not recommended due to the site being investigated by the FBI, the site misusing its captcha to DDoS sites, and potential tampering with archives. While using it isn't against the rules, it's recommended to use ghostarchive.org or megalodon.jp instead. If using an archive.today link is intentional, you may submit your edit again.
There's some good warning text for the filter. Qoot/coboot can edit it as necessary GauntletThrown (clittyleakage zone) 22:09, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
Honestly, I would but I feel like putting that warning whenever an user tries to edit would be too annoying Fenriris🐺 20:26, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
There is a "added text" variable on Abuse Filter, it should prevent what you're talking about. GapeNewell (talk) 20:29, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
