List of gems

From Soyjak Wiki, the free ensoyclopedia

This page lists gems.

Gems are varieties of minerals that are considered to be valuable due to their beauty and/or rarity. In Soyspeak, the term "gem" is universally used to denote something good. This page contains a non-exhaustive list of real-life, physical gems.

Cardinal Gems[edit | edit source]

The cardinal gems are gemstones which are traditionally viewed as the most valuable. The classification has its roots in antiquity, and was centered around ceremonial significance and rarity.

Amethyst[edit | edit source]

An amethyst
>JUST LIKE THE GEOMETRY DASH LEVEL!!

Amethyst is a purple colored variety of quartz. Once considered extremely valuable, discovery of vast deposits in BRAAAAAAAPzil has demoted it to semiprecious status.

Diamond[edit | edit source]

A diamond

Diamond is a clear crystal comprised of pure carbon. It is valuable not just for jewelry, but also in many industrial fields due to its extreme hardness. Additionally, it is well known for its role in Minecraft as an """end-game""" material (ev&oe you can easily find them in like 30 minutes). It is a rapper's delight!

The price of diamonds are artificially inflated btw. If you geniuely think diamonds are worth anything you are a retarded black gorilla kikeslave nigger. The Science makes it relatively easy to synthesize in a laboratory, but (((they))) insist that "real" diamonds must be laboriously mined from the DNB fields of Africa.

Emerald[edit | edit source]

An emerald

Emerald is a form of the mineral beryl that comes in various shades of green. According to the alchemical lore emerald counteracts poison, but most doctors advise seeking medical attention instead. Emeralds play a key role in the process of creating a gemerald.

Ruby[edit | edit source]

A ruby

Ruby is a form of the mineral corundum, which is a crystalline form of aluminum oxide. It is one of the most sought after gemstones due to its vivid color, ranging from pinkish to blood red.

Sapphire[edit | edit source]

A sapphire [This is the best non-jewel photo I could find. Wikipedia seems to love this specific gemstone for whatever reason]

Like rubies, sapphire is a form of corundum, but different or something. Though it is best known for being blue, any corundum gemstone that isn't red is classed as a sapphire.

Not to be confused with Tanzanite.

Other non-cardinal gems[edit | edit source]

Topaz[edit | edit source]

A Thoughpaz
>JUST LIKE THE TERRARIA MINERAL!!!!

Topaz is a silicate mineral made of aluminum and fluorine with the chemical formula Al2SiO4(F, OH)2. It is usually colorless, but trace element impurities can make it pale blue or golden-brown to yellow-orange. Its usually treated with radiation to make it a bunch of different colors.

It is said that just the presence of this gemstone is alone to make you crazy. Tanzanite[edit | edit source]

A Tanzanite
Only used by 'ki editors award

Tanzanite is the blue and violet variety of the mineral zoisite (a calcium aluminium hydroxyl sorosilicate). The color is caused by small amounts of vanadium. Tanzanite belongs to the epidote mineral group.

Despite being named after an African country, it is pretty notable on the 'sphere (well, atleast in this very wiki), because it's used to refer of devastating TRVTHNVKES (well, not after the gradingcaust).

Not to be confused with sapphire.

Other unnoteworthy gems[edit | edit source]

Analthyst, cacamond, gleamond, shinerald, and glisterald[Marge...] are well known for their unique characteristics.
