Topaz is a silicate mineral made of aluminum and fluorine with the chemical formula Al₂SiO₄(F, OH)₂. It is used as a gemstone in jewelry and other adornments. It's typically depicted as brownish-orange, although most topazes are either colorless or blue.^[1]

It also used to define high-effort schizobabble.^{[although nobody says this and say margerald instead]} ^{[I say this though]} It's mostly used in this very wiki to classify nonsensical pages.^[2]
