/soy/ is soyjak.party's Soyjak (de facto NAS) board and internet coal machine. /soy/ is the main and most active board on the Party and is home to gems, 'jaks, coal, memes, raids, schizos, kids and adolescents who shouldn't have internet access, conspiracy theories, extremists, anarchists, hackers, aliens, 4cuck tourists, AI robots, federal agents, unironic pedophiles (unfortunately), trannies (unfortunately), twitter/discord rapefugees, booruniggers, an endless amount of trolling, and infinite bait victims. /soy/ has a reputation for being a somewhat ~~chaotic~~ comfy board, where spamming, shitposting, and trolling threads are common activity.

Despite all the meme posts, regular random discussions and blogposts are common. It is quite a fast board, and although it's post per hour rate can be unstable at times, it usually has an average post per day rate of ~15,000-20,000, making it more active than 4chan's /r9k/ and /lgbt/ boards but less active than its /sp/, /a/, and /int/ boards. If /soy/ was a 4chan board, it would be around the 10th most popular. /soy/'s activity is also comparable to kohlchan's /int/.^[1]

The board currently has around 900 active posters, this number is calculated by the total amount of posters that still has their post in the catalog for the past 3 days, which was unable to be calculated until Quote decided to increase the catalog limit to 137 (the active posters used to be at around 400 before because the threads got wiped quite quickly, albeit its still not clearly calculable because the threads get wiped in 2 days instead).

On June 25, 2025, the board's title was changed from "/soy/ - Soyjaks" (normal) -> "/soy/ - Söyjaks" -> "/soy/ - Söyjäks" -> "/soy/ - Nusoijaks" -> "/soy/ - Söyjäks" -> "/soy/ - Söyjaks" -> "/soy/ - Soyjacks" -> "/soy/ - Soy woah jacks" -> "/soy/ - The Poop Order" -> back to normal.

/soy/ is new /b/ theory[edit | edit source]

This theory has been circulating mildly on /soy/, where people compare /soy/ to 2000's /b/. The board is expected to rot and turn into the nu-/b/ due to the rampant coaling of the log.

Main argument include:

/soy/ raids for gegs and /b/ raids for lulz, meaning /soy/ is internet hate machine 2.0
/soy/ has a lot of immigrants and newfags, exactly what /b/ had
/soy/ is deteriorating in quality over time, just like /b/
/soy/ and /b/ had the exact same properties e.g. instant gratification, race against time to reply and baiting.
People miss 2020 /soy/, like people missed 2005 /b/

However unlike /b/, ~~/soy/ isn't NSFW~~ it is.

A phenomenon seemingly only exclusive on /soy/. Every now and then, a thread, usually posted a few days before (sometimes the time range will be ever longer), will be posted again. The perpetrators are possibly bots created by the CIA.

The state of /soy/[edit | edit source]

It is well-known that /soy/ isn't what it once was, and this isn't just oldfags being oldfags. What once was a place for posting funny 'jaks has effectively become the only board people post on, making it incredibly easy for failtrolls, foodists, and offsiters to bait people with softcore porn of Soytan and 'slot. It has become the coaliest board of the Sharty, and the jannies don't care about cleaning the place up because it's sharty culture o algo. Furfaggotry is rampant everywhere and the nusoicacas that now inhabit the board either don't know how to sage threads or believe the coal that is killing /soy/ is some kind of secret gem. At this point, the brimstone Soyjak Party Video Archive posts every time xe remembers xis password is considerably more gemmy than what a 'teen sees on the 'log.
