I can confirm this existed. Its text read “<topic> is a chaotic equinox consisting of the most hellish and heavenly materials that both killed and saved the soyverse.” This needs snopes though Beidore (talk) 18:12, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

Finding or replacing the missing media is probably the best bet. Not sure if you have access to the same tools as User:Yotsuba the IV once had, he must've had access to a more extensive deletion log too because he found templates that were never archived as far as I'm aware. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 17:03, 22 February 2026 (UTC)

I made it, as evidenced by the icon being uploaded by me. i didn't even make the template itself, i just suggested it on cobblestone's talk page, xhe said xhe didn't find any interest in it, and some selfish little nigger made it anyway.

Though i unfortunately do not have the template code, nor was i able to find it on cobblestone's talk page archives, i can assure you that "consisting of the most" is part of the template.

Also "HELLISH" and "HEAVENLY" are in uppercase

I do not think that archived templates need to be preserved here, as it only bloats this already gargantuan article even more than it needs to be and I do not think a dedicated page for archived templates is needed either as Category:Archived templates exists. Multiple policy pages on this wiki use the deleted template gallery as examples of what not to do, and keeping a list of deleted templates and why they were deleted helps prevent nusois wasting their time trying to make templates that were removed for a reason and don't yet have a reason to exist again. At the very least all deleted templates should have screenshots uploaded as files (naming format should be "TemplateName archived.extension" btw if that matters)

Sure, that's a very good point actually. I could see that working as the template image previews won't load until the user scrolls them into view, this would also solve the performance issues the page currently has, which are relevant btw as even on my machine the page freezes for a solid second or two before becoming usable. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 23:12, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

For template image previews just put the code into a sandbox article, preview them, and take a screenshot of them and then crop it to the exact borders of the 'chived template in question so people can see the template exactly as it was when they ran their course.
