In 2016, the Chief Rabbi of the UK, Ephraim Mirvis, contested the plans of Mizrachi entering Britain for a sermon, calling him a "Jewish hate preacher" and subsequently got him barred from entering the UK by the Home Office.[1] In 2019, he was barred from entering the UK again due to the Home Office considering banning Mizrachi from entering the UK for life due to him spreading hatred and extremism. He blamed Ephraim Mirvis, calling him the "number one most wicked person in the whole world", along with another rabbi, Joseph Dweck, saying they're "the two friends, gay lovers, who do everything they can to promote homosexuality and destroy the Jewish nation from inside, destroy the Jewish community in England... he's going to bring a Holocaust on the Jews in England."

Yosef Mizrachi was born in Israel. His father was a Moroccan Jew and his mother was a Persian Jew. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces, he moved to New York in his twenties to pursue a (((career in finance.))) In 1997, he began learning and later teaching Torah at the Ohr Yisrael Yeshiva in Monsey, New York, and later producing kiruv (Orthodox Judaism outreach) videos that began appearing online in 2004. He is one of the rabbis who revolutionized the use of social media for Orthodox Jewish outreach, aimed especially at non-religious audiences.

Questionable beliefs
[edit | edit source]He claimed that Jews helped bring out the holocaust by assimilating.[Marge...] and claimed that only 1-4 million Jews were killed in the holocaust, and that the number "6 million" is used for political purposes. He later issued an apology.🔒
During Covid, Mizrachi claimed that you can cure the disease by blowing hot air from a hair dryer down your throat 2-5 times a day.
Mizrachi has stated that Jews who have down syndrome and autism are caused by sins committed in a previous life. He later responded that his statement was taken out of context.[1]
