Instagram is a social networking platform focused on sharing media in the form of images and videos with fellow goyim. It opened in 2010 and was bought by Facebook in 2012. Using obscure references to edgier stuff: never really caught on in this era, but did afterwards

Having versions: Particularly important for the fast-burn accounts, but also used for all other types. Since you couldn't expect your memepage to survive for long, you would create a gorillion alts, all named exactly the same, but with v2, v3 etc. at the end.
