MoonMetropolis is (((Jewish))).

Joshua Ryne Goldberg, known by his username MoonMetropolis, is an ex-convict, ex-Sharty[2] janitor and ex-Soyjak Wiki janitor[3], namefag, and the former figurehead of the NuSchlog, who is now entirely banned from the wiki and the sharty.[1] He says that he is technically not Jewish because only his father is a jew and you need your mother to be a kike in order to be considered officially a Jew.[4]

Joshua is known for autistic and dedicated trolling campaigns, one of which eventually got him caught by the glowies and convicted on the charges of terrorism, getting him incarcerated and gaining a proper Wikipedia page. After being released from prison, he would go back to the internet and got involved with rDrama, though he has since fallen out with the users of the site because disagreements or some SNCA. He would learn about the Soysphere from Xitter and make an AMA on the Sharty after being banned from Reddit, which is what led to him being invited to rDrama.[5][6]

He joined Soyjak.blog on October 15 of 2024 and would spend most of his time being a namefag on there[7], becoming a wiki janny shortly after. He also owns a substack newsletter where he discusses his thoughts and opinions.[8]

On June 28, 2025, Moon would be fired from his position as a janny on the Sharty for getting too involved in splinter wars.[2] He would also be demoted from his position on the wiki on August 6, 2025 by Quote for edit warring.[3]

On August 18, 2025, he would finally be banned for trying to impersonate BBQ Sauce on Kiwi Farms and attempting to false flag.[9] He would also be removed from his position on the NuSchlog on the same day.

MoonMetropolis has gathered some praise for his effort in exposing and hunting pedos, foodists and the UTTP.[10] He has worked on reporting them to the FBI and being responsible for repeatedly getting a pedophilic splinter dropped by its providers,[11][12] with him also focusing on bringing Skajyos and Bu5t into justice, though they are still up.

Controversies[edit | edit source]

Some of Goldberg’s stances have been controversial amongst some users, particularly Schlog oldfags and now inhabitants of the shroom. One of them is his opinion that Soylita is the most well-designed soyjak variant, and that she would be gemmy if it wasn't used by pedophiles,[13] a stance the majority of soyteens would vehemently oppose. Goldberg is a self-proclaimed free speech absolutist, which means that he is in favor of any expression as long as it isn't outright illegal; this has caused anger among users of the shroom, since, after Goldberg became a moderator on the Schlog post-sale, he started a mass unbanning of any users who weren't outright groomers or criminals, something that annoyed Shroomers, as they thought that many brimmy users who were banned for valid reasons got unbanned unjustly because of Joshua's opinion. This factor started the rivalry of shroom vs. nu-Schlog, with the former despising Moon's laissez-faire moderation style.

On May 22, 2024, Joshua wrote a Medium blog post arguing that "fake" AI-generated child porn and lolicon should be legal on First Amendment grounds,[14] and he made the same arguments on the Schlog, an extremely controversial statement met with criticism by both nu-Schlog users and shroom.[15]

One of the people Goldberg unbanned recently is p0rt42; the owner of homercord, telling him "to the best of my knowledge, you dindu nuffin."[16] when he asked why he was banned. He also unbanned joel, who was re-banned later for being 15.[17]

He emailed a child porn archive link to a minor and claimed sharty users spam CSAM[18] and samefagged with his golem to defend himself until an admin revealed his identity on a /qa/ thread[19]. The reason why he sent the link to said minor was because, according to MoonMetropolis, was because said link needs to be taken down.
