Gem Control was darker than coal...Gem Control (Pseudonyms: Teflon Don, Cobman, Mark Kohlberg) was a soystorian, prominent contributor to Soyjak Wiki, and wiki helper, credited for creating and popularizing different memes on the Soysphere, most notably Brap. He was an extremely prolific wiki editor and once held the record for most edits. Even in death, he holds the record for second most edits on the wiki.
Censorship
Every now and then, he would try to remove any and all mentions of the word "Nigger" from the wiki.[1][theres more of this but i'll have to come back later] He also clittyleaked constantly on the Booru and damaged its soyjakological history by deleting anything he disliked, including censoring the original Jartycuck gem to remove the DNB (this vandalism has since been undone.)
Role on SoyBooru
Gem Control briefly served as a moderator on SoyBooru for a few days in late 2024, where he tasked himself with purging the site of not only 'lita but also anything else he disliked personally, which was extremely damaging. At least 1,000 posts were removed, possibly multiple thousands. This conduct could be one of the reasons he was finally banned.
Alt Abuse
In February 2025, jannies discovered he was abusing alt accounts and planning to report the booru to Adsense to get the advertisements removed from the site, leading to his rapid arrest by the FDL under decree of Emperor Froot. He currently lives in exile on a small island colony.
On March 11th, he was caught abusing alt accounts again. He even used his former main account to approve edits he made on his alts, until the permissions were revoked[2]. He may abuse alts again in the future. He also tried to get User:GapeNewell to recreate the Steve article via email, which failed. The article can be viewed here.
