Minecraft/Servers
Minecraft servers are multiplayer servers where you can play with friends. Many are minigame-focused.
List of Soyjak Minecraft Servers[edit | edit source]
On the Sharty, Minecraft is only notable, because multiple soyjak-themed servers have been hosted on the game. This tradition has been upheld since 2021, when Soot was admin.
So far, there are five separate articles for these servers:
Minecraft Raids:[edit | edit source]
Non-Soyjak Minecraft Servers[edit | edit source]
Minecraft servers has servers where you can play some nice minigames
Hypixel[edit | edit source]
Bedwars and Skyblock with the rest being snca most popular Java server but not a great one also the team behind it created Hytale.
Housing[edit | edit source]
Moreover they have a dusty sandbox game-mode called "Housing" where people can make their own "mini-servers" and basically Owners of these mini-servers get tools which allow them to make things that you can do in a typical sandbox game like Garry's Mod like parkour, minigames, survival servers, PVP-servers and worst of all "Freebuild" which is like r/Place where everyone gets Creative mode and creative freedom, that is until a Janny (ones which are exclusive to the Housing server) leaks if someone puts up the Israeli flag (to which they will use Hypixel Housing rules as their argument if confronted[1], even doe they will 90% likely allow someone to put the Satanist logo and a troon flag of course). You will find chronically online trannies, cacas, 'corders alike in these Freebuilds.
Ways to troll in Housing Freebuilds[edit | edit source]
- Place Jukeboxes and put annoying discs e.g. Disc 11, 13 (they will be heard miles away)
- Grief tranny flags
- Lighting on fire
- Putting signs that read "You will never be a woman"
- Cover them with flags especially Israeli, Russian, or German flags
- Build massive structures so there will be less space for people to builds things on
- Build swastikas in a place where Jannies can't immediately find them and report the Housing Freebuild How to report
The Hive[edit | edit source]
Best Minecraft server currently with amazing games like Death Run, Ground Wars, Capture the Flag, and very good version of Skywars sadly tho recently its been very jooish by making everything an ad through out the world map and discounting the Java server because a $5.6 million in annual revenue wasn't enough shekels for them to keep it running.
Cubecraft[edit | edit source]
Basically the Hive but worse there's really no point in playing it besides from a couple of good arcade style mini games like Minerware and Pillars of Fortune also one of the creators is a furfag and the team is full of faggots.
2b2t[edit | edit source]
2b2t, is THE OLDEST ANARCHY SERVER mostly played by cacas who watch FitMC (bald man without glasses). It’s not really anarchy doe because the server’s owner Hausemaster bent over and takes it from the back from Microslop’s Minecraft TOS, even going as far as to remove swastikas from the server with worldedit and censoring fucking swear words.
2b2t Splinters[edit | edit source]
Just like the Sharty, 2b2t has many copycats that leech off of the popularity of Minecraft anarchy. Currently, most of these are better than 2b2t anyways. Some notable alt-anarchy servers include Constantiam, 9b9t, oldfag, and 6b6t.
Mineplex Revival (Gem or Coal?)[edit | edit source]
Mineplex used to be one of the most popular and gemmiest servers in Minecraft until it got bad somewhere in 2017-8ish which Hypixel would took over it's popularity in 2016 then got shut down in 2023 currently it's got a new owner that said the server would come back in summer so will be a gem or coal revival we'll see soon!
How to make a Minecraft server[edit | edit source]
A Minecraft server is essentially a hosted server that runs in real time, meaning the server continues to run and you and your friends can connect to it on demand at any time you like. To set one up you have to have a machine with a public IP and port forwarding, also look into getting a free DNS provider so you don't have to use a raw IP address.
Tutorial[edit | edit source]
Java Edition[edit | edit source]
To set up a Minecraft Java Edition server you need obviously your own machine of some sort. It can be a designated server or even just a laptop or something that can run a tmux session. I personally use Debian (a Linux distribution) and use tmux to run it in the background but you can run a Minecraft server on any operating system you want. Make sure you put it in a dedicated folder so the service can be isolated.
Then install OpenJDK (must use OpenJDK 21 or later as Minecraft requires Java 21). I personally recommend using the Microsoft build which you can find here, just choose whichever method is right for your system.
You have to open the port 25565 which Minecraft uses by default.
ufw allow 25565/tcp ufw reload
Choose any Minecraft server hosting software, personally I recommend PaperMC, it is simple and regularly updated o algo and also very easy to install mods onto. Download it and put it in your Minecraft server directory. Then create a Bash script called start.sh (or whatever you want) with the following contents:
#!/bin/bash java -Xms_A_G -Xmx_B_G -jar paper-1.X.Y-Z.jar nogui
replace _A_ and _B_ with the minimum and maximum amount of RAM you want the server to use (for example you can make it a minimum of 2 GB and maximum of 8 GB with -Xms2G -Xmx8G), and set X and Y to the Minecraft release version and Z to the PaperMC software build number. This script essentially runs the JAR file with your memory limits on the JVM which starts the server. Run it and accept the terms and conditions. You should also disable chat verification and "enforce secure profile" since this allows Mojang to "verify chat messages" and ban people for saying offensive words like the nigger-w. Most of the settings can be configured from the server.properties file.
Also if you plan to have your server private for just you and your friends make sure you enable a whitelist because if you do not your server WILL get griefed by foodists who use bots to search every IP and port for Minecraft servers. They WILL spam 'p and try to crash your server or get it banned so make sure you have security measures in place such as anti-griefing mods if you plan to run it without a whitelist.
How to join and troll (random) servers[edit | edit source]
- Use a Server Scanner such as this website or use this mod
- Filter the current active Player Count in servers by 1-6 (good balance)
- Steal people's loot, guaranteed they will leak in the chat
- Now you made history in that server
