"I'm trans BTW" is a popular catchphrase used on 4cuck and the sharty to implicate someone as a tranny by falsefagging as them and replying with "I'm trans BTW". It is most commonly used when someone makes an overly faggoty, racebaity, or otherwise coaly statement. This mainly happens in anonymous spaces because everyone is anonymous and detecting a samefag or differentfag is harderand when Captain Coal edited posts to end with "Also I'm trans". It is the spiritual successor to "HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS".

The first appearance of the phrase on 4chan was on /tv/ on May 12, 2019[1], though similar phrases had been around for much longer.
Word filter[edit | edit source]
The phrase gained new usage after Froot added a word filter which makes posts given the name "Alicia" end in "I'm trans btw" (nobody likes the word filter doe except when someone says something faggy and gets nameraped with it). Also, posts with IDs enabled are almost impossible to falseflag in, so this catchphrase is usually said in this situation when someone gets nameraped by Alicia.
