The moral high ground is a highly debated subject in internet flame war theory, with many people determining that it has no solid definition and is simply an empty catchword for hippies, queers and cowards. First described by sociologist, keyed retard, and black belt in Reddit-Fu Lee Goldson in the mid 2010s, it can be described an inherent rightness or wrongness associated with one of the combatants in a flame war, usually based on which side receives more support from the general audience, or cites the most peer-reviewed sources. It is an absolute NVKE when used correctly, and can decimate your opponent's argument and your opponent themselves when accompanied by backed up accusations of unwholesome or illegal activity. The moral high ground is a volatile weapon and should be used sparingly, but unsurprisingly it is completely diluted by retards who think it automatically makes them the winner in an argument despite not actually having the moral high ground.

The moral high ground has become a tell-tale sign of chronic hugboxing syndrome (common in trannies), and can often lead people to have neurotic tantrums online or IRL about how anyone with more power than them needs to conform to their beliefs, and can lead to violence and mental deterioration if not handled properly. This is also commonly observed in people with documented neuroticism, OCD, schizophrenia, autism, and the informal diagnosis of "Being An Annoying Cocksucker". These people will often get a sort of tunnel vision with their arguments, leading to trip-ups and mistakes that discredit them almost entirely, even if they are right. This is also common in people who pick arguments and fights for literally no reason, e.g. namefags. This is also known as shitflinging.

The moral high ground is often confused for moralfagging due to its extensive use by moralfags, but it is NOT the same thing. Having the moral high ground is when you are a better person than your opponent, rather than the act of invoking subjective morals and semantics to discredit your opponent. Both are gay cop-outs used by retards, though.
