/qa/ - Question & Answer (aka SFW random) also known as nuqa is a board where all sorts of NAS including sharty killers dwell and post their autistic shit (not that the original qa was much better but at least it was funny). The board was intended to be the successor to 4chan's /qa/ and as Sharty's own version of /b/ but SFW, but it was always overshadowed by /soy/. Because of this, /qa/ posters have a reputation of being /soy/ rejects. It's purpose now is a dump for NAS threads. Namefags, tripfags, and other kinds of attention whores are a common occurrence on this not so alive nigger of a board.
Present /qa/[edit | edit source]
At some point, it became a de-facto containment board for Ongezellig (until most posters moved to the Zarty), and is currently a "safe" haven for bronies, FPEdos, furries and some other trannies. /qa/ has historically been the second most active board on the site, but in 2024 has been surpassed by other boards such as /pol/ in PPH and amount of posts. /qa/ has the third-largest amount of total posts on the site behind /pol/ and /soy/. The board saw rise in brimstone tranny goonslop posting once /nate/ got deleted coaling up the board even more.
In early 2024 Zellig was essentially wiped out of /soy/ in the aftermath of zelligate, with NuAdmin's (Root's) ban on spam/necrobumping (as well as introducing a global bump limit later). Despite losing strengh, popularity among soyteens and most posters moving to the Zarty, in summer of 2025 'zellig came back the board with atleast 4 general-style threads being made with 2 of them reaching 1200 replies.
The board is semi-dead nowadays and sometimes gets failwiped.
What you'll find on /qa/[edit | edit source]
Standard NAS like Gigachad and Pepe are allowed on /soy/ so it is mostly just autism troonslop garbage. Often you'll find old /qa/ NAS such as 'lig, sneed and bane. Namefagging is allowed there and namefag drama gets moved there, but due to everyone hating the board even they don't use it. Blogposting and discussion of offsite groups is also common on the board. Rarely you'll find threads that are not about autistic garbage, mostly stuff that had their own boards such as cooking and similar stuff.
Catalog wipes[edit | edit source]
Due to its current state as /nate/-lite, catalog wipe attempts are common. Catty wipes, however, very commonly backfire, as everyone will simply bump all their posts, while the other interesting posts[uh... what interesting posts?] on the board will just die. Users that participate in catalog wipes have been known to get bans before. /qa/ posters are known to counter-wipe /qa/ during these kinds of events.
