Root (officially stylized as ROOT), also known as Snopes Fact Check,[3] was a former manager and later co-administrator of soyjak.party. He served as an admin from March 17, 2024 to July 9, 2024.[4]
Depending on which admins you count as alter-egos or not, Root was either the 5th, 6th, or Οͺth administrator. He was the first Nojak admin in Soyjak.party's history, and previously served as a manager under Froot. NuAdmin was confirmed to be Root's alt admin account. Root was considered to be one of the shittier admins in Soyjak.party's history. This is due to his antagonistic nature towards soyteens, vocal endorsement and propagation of Ongezellig and NAS /qa/ culture, Discord usage, multiple information psy-ops, unpopular UI changes, allowing Ronald to datamine, as well as allowing the site to constantly experience server downtime or dropped hosting under his reign.
Root has considered himself to Admin 6 in several occasions, once stating that he "wants the Admin 6 shit to die with him". Although he is currently removed from the administration, he could very well carry soyjak.party to absolute ruin.
History[edit | edit source]
On September 9, 2023, while the site recovering from the Soypocalypse, he was introduced by then co-admin Angeleno who made a thread announcing a new Manager, saying βif you want, you can think of him as chief of the coal policeβ.[5] After some excitement and some dread, an hour later, he made his first post under the name βRootβ. Root succeeded Red as manager of the Party, who himself succeeded DOLL. Root, stylized "ROOT", would go on to act as manager of the Party under Angeleno and Froot, and for a short period of time, DOLL. He would command the FDL under the guidance of Froot and often make namefag appearances in /soy/, interacting with 'teens and joining Froot in impromptu Q&A's. Root was easily baitable, so much that 'teens at first thought he might be Soot. Throughout his tenure, Root showed a strong bias toward the Sharty /qa/ board, eventually making frequent appearances and posting with the Vera character from Ongezellig, to which he later admitted to enjoy. As with DOLL calling soyteens "little buddy," Root would often address the soyteen collective as "brats."
On March 17, 2024, he became Admin,[6] the 6th one to be exact (DISPUTED). He worked with Ronald to implement many Sharty/vichan changes. However, he was also host to frequent site downtime. On May 25, 2024, Root larped about being "fired" by Doll, and instead administrated under a new anonymous admin account, which was referred to as "NuAdmin" by most of the public. Root made his official return under the "Root" identity on June 19, 2024.
On June 27, transcripts from Soyjak.party's mod/admin Discord server were leaked by a rogue janny, which confirmed that Root was larping as NuAdmin all along, and that Doll never returned or anything. Froot would officially confirm that Root was NuAdmin on July 3, 2024, in the same announcement where he would announce that several more anonymous admins would join in the coming month.
Allegations, Disputes, and Criticisms[edit | edit source]
Furfaggotry[edit | edit source]
On September 10, 'teens noticed that the board owner of a furry altchan called FurChan.net was named r00t.[7] Root appeared in the thread and said that he was not the same person, changing the stylization of his name from "root" to "ROOT." Regardless, this startling connection continues to be investigated, but is highly supported by most users due to his actions.
In a 'teen's thread where rolling dubs leaked an embarrassing post from your history, Root rolled dubs on one of his posts. He complied and linked a post from a /qa/ thread about furry coal, revealing that he anonymously made the post.[8] It is unknown if Root made the entire thread or just recent posts.
It is believed that Root also suspiciously sugarcoated furries and bronies whenever he could. During the peak of the 50 Board Plan, Root endorsed a handful of furry & brony "memes". Some 'teens felt that he took too long to get rid the /fur/ spam leakage to other boards (even doe that is Janny's job). In /q/, Root would see to complaints made by /qa/ furry faction posters, at the point when he made an effort to keep a furry general thread on /qa/ online in the name of free speech, which still exists to this day with a modest posts-per-day speed.
Root also turned a blind eye on Dinoposting spam when it was at it's peak, not only expressing his amusement from dinoposters (Baritone et al.), but in one occasion even called it "based".
He has also stated in a thread on the sharty that his favorite animal is the "Sexy Poodle" pictured below.[9]
Ongezellig Fan[edit | edit source]
In his initial Q&A, Root stated that that Ongezellig posters should stay in /qa/. He claimed to have never watched it, but may be a 'lignigger due to twice replying to Froot with the image of Mymy getting hit with a bottle and the post contents "orange fucker."[it just is, ok?] Over his tenure, Root appeared to have become a zellig poster, at least partial to the series, or simply always liked it and came out of the closet. He made a /qa/ sticky using a picture of the character Vera[10] and has said he is his favorite character.[it just is, ok?]
Soytan Advocacy[edit | edit source]
Upon becoming Admin, Root made a public post advocating for and instating the re-integration of Soytan into Soyjak.Party and /soy/, with the caveat that people would not post porn or coomer edits of her.[it just is, ok?] This was the first time that the character was allowed back at no risk of bans, having become recognized as the Jarty mascot after Soot's departure. He also posted her a lot during the April Fools 2024 event, making both a temporary board for her and including her as a Yotsuba parallel for /sude/. The re-integration of Soytan was a hot topic, with many Jarty haters condeming it and others welcoming the boost in PPH from people posting her, complaining, but most effectively, soyquoting pro-soytan posts with Jartypedo slopjaks.
Root's Gender[edit | edit source]
Despite obviously being a pajeet man,[11] for some time after becoming admin, it was speculated that Root was either a real woman or a tranny. (You) WILL find discussion and posts about this and add it to the 'ki.
Root is Mutahar theory[edit | edit source]
As of June 2024, many soyteens believe Root is Mutahar from SomeOrdinaryGamers. In his recent videos he's been going out of his way to mention the site, and even tweeted "root". Soyteens suspect Mutahar was able to infiltrate the Party via his persona as Root, and that he's about to post a video about soyjak.party (likely in collaboration with Turkey Tom). and the fact they're both indian or something

NuAdmin[edit | edit source]
Chud ## Admin (unofficially known as NuAdmin, Floot, Molchat, Doot, or Doma) was an alter ego of Root operating from May 27, 2024 until June 20, 2024.
The idea behind the persona was to test full-on anonymous leadership by Root. It was somewhat of a "prototype" for The Janny Cabal, which still may or may not exist to this day.[12]
"NuAdmin" chose to lead with the Soy-Neo-Hiroyuki approach, as in he interacted and engaged with the users as little as possible (not at all GEG) and chose to stay anonymous and not go by any name. NuAdmin quickly became the name adopted by most soyteens due to there being zero information on him.
NuAdmin was widely theorized to be Root's alter-ego, which he denied until June 27th. On that day, Frootcord got leaked, revealing that Root was indeed NuAdmin.
On May 24, 2024, Root and NuDev got "fired" by "Doll", who later announced he would be picking a new admin on Sunday. However, NuAdmin actually started his reign on May 27, 2024, which is a Monday. After he arrived a conflict broke out between soyteens on what to call him. Many names have been proposed, but the most popular ones seemed to have been to be Molchat, Floot and Doot.
On June 3, 2024, Ronald pushed "NuAdmin" to enact the Nu-Five board plan, with the five boards being /soy/, /hobby/, /g/, /pol/, and /raid/, as well as keeping /news/, /x/, and /chive/.[13] This was received with negative reactions, as most preferred the existence of all of the meme boards even if they had low pph, and no one really understood why /qa/, /q/, and /r/ had to be deleted. A day later due soyteen backlash and general coalliness of the idea, "NuAdmin" made a new post partially walking back the plan, and reinstated /qa/.
On June 20, 2024, according to Root he finally realized how boring the whole idea was, and decided to ask Froot to erase the whole larp from existence, covering it up as "NuAdmin" being "Fired."

The "firing" of NuAdmin
Last Transmission from ROOT[edit | edit source]
"Last Transmission from ROOT" was the supposed "final post" made by Root using a staff capcode, posted after his "firing" (the time he began LARPing as "NuAdmin").[14] Due to his inclusion of a title in the subject line and the nature of the contents, it was meant as his final farewell post. Posted in a Root Hate thread, it garnered 48 (You)s, accompanied by a twitter cat meme. Instead of using the admin capcode, his "last post" was made with the Manager capcode which he used for the majority of his staff and site presence.
ROOT here, this is ironically a great place to make my last post. Well, probably not last since you never really leave. But last one identifying myself. I am not banned from sharty and I'm on good terms with the staff, but being admin wasn't the same as manager. It's a tough job. I guess I kinda soft quit and fucked around too much, even doe my vision for sharty was just shitpost paradise.
I hope at least everyone enjoyed my run despite all the namefagging. Even if I made mistakes, I'm happy I was able to help bring sharty back from niggerhell after the soypocalypse, and introduce some decent features with the help of nudev. You brats are in good hands with whoever comes next. I wanted to use my old capcode one more time before moving on, DOLL said it was okay.

Comparing his final post to his first one, one can infer fatigue with staffing the site and regret for administrative incompetence. Some 'teens theorized he quit instead of simply being fired; however the June 27, 2024 Frootcord leaks revealed that ROOT never quit and "NuAdmin" was him all along.
Account on The Schlog[edit | edit source]
Root would still post several times on his account on the Soyjak.blog after he resigned from being an administrator, it is very probable that he still lurks on the sharty to this day and keeps in close contact with some members of the community, but does not actively work with the janny team. It is also confirmed that he was an admin of furchan thanks to some of his statements, therefore he probably is a furry but just keeps it somewhat well hidden away from the public eye. During the Great Cuckset Root would lend a hand to the Cabal with the increased janny load and help out with some of the work that needed to be done with so many new users and rulebreakers.
