Retroslop, also known as "nostalgiabait" is a subgenre of troonslop that LARPs as if it's from a certain decade (usually ranging from the 90s-2000s, although some examples that are mostly from Roblox go up to 2015) despite being made in Year.now().getValue() and having NONE of the substance.

The term gained popularity on the platform Roblox, due to several games being hosted on there gaining the label of "retroslop". It is often criticized by the fact that it's usually a lazy form of media development, as creators usually just make shitty low poly models/textures and then subsequently slap the label of "retro" onto their "art". It's mostly enjoyed by autistic trannies who weren't even born around the time this "aesthetic" was originally made.
