Tama is an NAS catgirl mascot character (sound familliar?) originally created by a Shemmy user by the name of Jaikacuz. She was the unofficial mascot of the site, and the official mascot of ShemBooru.

History

Jaikacuz, Tama's creator, allegedly made porn of her. Take this 'toss with a grain of salt as it uses a pedophilic booru as a source.

Tama was originally created at May 12, 2024 and posted on the shemmy's /qa/ board by the autistic drawfag pooner and soyjak porn "artist" jaikacuz, and from there every Shemmyslut in existence made her a second Soytan, making fanart, fanfiction, porn and whatever else out there of Tama. To the average soyteen, this strange character is an autistic and tranime agent of Satan. To the average Shemmyslut ,Tama is the gem that saved the Shemmy (ev%oe it didn't).

The influx of porn and suggestive of Tama got so bad that her own creator, Jaikacuz, publicly disowned her by creating an animated video of her getting beheaded. Tama was allowed on Soybooru on February 3rd, 2026 however a good majority of the posts were uploaded by known shemmyslut Wordsalot, who is responsible for 45 percent of all nas:tama posts on the gallery.

It is also said that Tama did 9/11, But apparently it was Rapeson, or something.

Impact on the Soysphere

On the Sharty

Despite her barely resembling anything soysphere-related, Tama has gained much popularity within the confines of The Shemmy. She became an unofficial mascot of sorts, almost as popular as Mameson. Tama also sometimes used to get posted on the sharty as bait, though she didn't get posted often on the booru, probably because of jannies denying posts of her. Tama's appearance might have been inspired by the catgirl fursona of Moot, the creator of 4cuck. Unsurprisingly, being a female tranime girl, splintercucks transheart gooning to Tama just like they do with Soytan and Soylita, it is currently being shilled and forced on the 'ru. She's also really popular on /sude/

This very page was once taken down by Doll because of goonslop of her being pumped out as if there was a dedicated factory for it in Bharat, and a splinter mascot, and also because 9a0c was abusing admin to vandalize the article by saying that xhe originated from /qa/ when xhe actually came from the Shemmy and suppressing edits that said the TRVTH.

Gemma is supposed to be a "gem" themed version of Tama, usually posted by Gempass users, she's depicted as Tama, but her whole colour scheme is supposed to be blue and gem colored, Unironically, Tama is way better than xis coal gempasser counter-part.
