An IRL Tanzanite

A Tanzanite Truthnuke refers to a Truthnuke of extremely high magnitude and power. When a Tanzanite Truthnuke is posted, all poor-sighted readers wearing spectacles will immediately find them to be shattered into a thrembillion pieces and all clear-sighted readers will have to wear spectacles for the rest of their lives onwards. The phrase itself is almost exclusively used by 'ki editors and lurkers. The opposite mineral is Tranzanite, which is the same but for extremely well-crafted lies.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The term comes from Template:Tanzanite, a now deleted template used to mark only the gemmiest pages forged by craftsmen of the Jacobson clan from Aryanheaven using techniques passed down from generation to generation since ancient times. Autism and Trannies are some examples of these legendary pages.

The template's name comes from the now obsolete /qa/-era Soyspeak word Tanzanite referring to the highest level of quality attainable by a post and from Doll-era II Soyspeak Truthnuke, referring to an extremely controversial fact that eliminates all lies previously posted in a thread.

Abundance in 'rth's Crust[edit | edit source]

To be researched: Due to this phrase's rarity, there are no known pictures of Tanzanite Truthnukes being detonated. Can (You) help us?

If you see anyone using this endangered phrase, it's a dead giveaway that they are a wikiGOD.

Since the Gradingcaust went into effect in mid-January of 2026, the template has now been deleted along with it's counterpart Template:Tranzanite, as a result the phrase has continued to slip further into becoming extinct.[It just has, ok?]

Revitalization efforts are underway by a few 'ki users, but have had no discernible impact on the wider soysphere.[They just haven't, ok?]
